Yany Chandresh Double D wasn’t bad at all. He did pretty well. His character hard asf tho so of course he was a bit off.

I've never realized how weird and awkward Double D's mannerisms were until seeing an actual person do them.

The characters are all on point, they even did a great job recreating the locations, like the stairs in ed's basement, rolfs farm, it's so close to the original show. Great job guys!

See this, Hollywood? THIS is how you make a live-action adaptation of a cartoon the RIGHT way!

Over a half decade and 2 million views later, I decided to write a look back on this video I was a part of. First and foremost to be honest, yes it was cringey but to an extent imo. Reasons being was because us 3 (myself, Ryan (Double D) and Preston (Eddy) ) just graduated high school and we wanted to do something memorable mixed with nostalgia from our childhoods before we stepped into our own adult lives (college, jobs, military careers and so on). We had a small budget and we didn't expect to pull it off but the 2 million views proved wrong. The thousands upon thousands of comments was voices of praise, criticism, hate and its anyone's opinions that tended to bother us at first but later on down the roads of life it doesn't matter due to the distractions with our personal lives. It was an overall fun but exhausting experience plus the numerous amounts of continuity (my hair length in different scenes and shots) present. On the other hand myself speaking, I'm still going strong with my career in the military and nearly finishing college for advantages in my career (Officer comissioning) and living life to the fullest extent. In my honest opinion, I kept my mouth shut about this video during my career because I didn't want people to know and let them find this video out of searching on KZread and enjoy regardless at how cringey it was. One last thing I want to say to my brothers Preston and Ryan, to the other cast members and crew, thank you for all of your work and time and thank you to the viewers getting this video over 2 million views. I couldn't be more blessed to have been a part of this with my best friends. - Steve (Ed) P.S. yes my profile pic was when I was featured in a Brewstew video.

Growing up in the early 2000’s I can say this is scary how accurate this is to the real show! You guys did an amazing job portraying the characters personalities.

eddy killed it with the voice, after the first scene i almost couldn't tell the difference and ed had to have the most fun. you could tell he was really into being eds character. (also was my favorite character) DD did exactly what he'd do in the show too. mad props

*UPDATE* To All Fans: We thank you very much for the support, we had so much fun working on this. We got many requests for a sequel to this, but I'm sorry to say this: There will be no sequel. Right now we are extremely busy with life and college, My twin brother, Steve (Ed), is in the navy and won't be back home to film the sequel. That's the bad news, the good news is that we are working on another fan film based on another cartoon!! We will start filming in May! stuart england, Actually, Kevin often mugged and beat up Eddy, after he was scammed. Also, in an episode, Kevin stole Ed’s bike. The film takes place in 2017, so everyone has aged/changed since the show has ended. In the re-edited version, that I already uploaded, Kevin has a motive to mug Eddy. Thanks for watching! :)

I get a surreal feeling of how it literally feels like it hasn’t even been 6 years already since this was first uploaded and since I first watched this, at the most it feels like only 2 years have passed since I’ve seen this video, but the years just go by in a flash, and it’s awesome to see it’s got 2 million views, well deserved, they probably just made this expecting at least a few thousand views, but because you can tell that they genuinely put effort into this, with nailing the personality of the characters, and the voices of the characters, and they honestly just nailed the feel of Ed Edd N Eddy, this legitimately feels like it could’ve been an episode, I mean some parts do kinda drag on for a bit too long, but regardless this video has aged perfectly, it gives off the vibes of the earlier KZreads, back when people weren’t really getting paid to upload videos, and were making videos as a hobby and for the fun of it, that’s something I feel the current KZread lacks, but I digress.. I hope everybody who was featured in this video is doing well.

This was perfect spot on guys they really should get an award for this,they were all good just like the actual cartoon,the vibes the voices the whole atmosphere just like them i watched the whole thing and was laughing just like how i would with the cartoon,they all played so well like they are the actual actors from ed edd n eddy really convincing good job👍👍👍👍

They finally got the jawbreakers. Almost 20 years later.

You guys did such an amazing job. Only things missing out were how little Double D used technical terms and rolfs speech, otherwise you got this perfectly. Little things arent worth a dislike, you all played the characters to the point. Plank was still the best character and May k. Is cute AF even with the obvious wig. Great job overall, stay awesome.

I wish any live-action movie based on a cartoon would be that way! like it feels like you're actually watching the show but with real people acting it out. that's what makes the live-action movies exciting, atleast for me :)

this is incredible. it feels like im listening to the actual cartoon. i want to thank the crew for this amazing experience. the main cast blew me away, especially ed. of the supporting characters (which were amazing ) i think sarah stood out with how accurate she is. the story itself feels genuine, if at times a bit strange ( eddys confession ) overall, even ignoring that this was purely fan made, it is one of the best live action adaptations ive ever seen. great job to everyone involved!
