I took an undergraduate class of students to the Galpagos Islands. We also went to Cotopaxi and I was so happy to see Condors. I really wish though we could have seen the Cock on the Rock as that is a bird I hope to see one day before I die. Lovely video

We're you staying at the Yellow House Lodge? Those steps and that door looked rather familiar. I was there in February of 2016.
I feel that if it's clearly not a hummingbird or a toucan, I just say "tanager" plus colour and I'm gonna be in the ballpark...
This is exactly how i see travelling. Not interested in the big urban areas.
