If i change computer box do i also have to change the whole lockset on the E90

i have a 07 328xi and its says no communication when plugging in obd2 the cluster gas and speedometer doesnt work the door locks from fob dont work . did you have this problem ever and whats your recommendations on repair . your awesome your videos

Hey…I was wondering if you can show where terminal 30 is in an e90 car. I have a 9caa fault which is causing some issues with the FRM. Tried replacing the FRM but no luck, same problem. I believe terminal 30 is one of the relays that supply constant power to the FRM. thx.

I have a 2011 E90. Not sure if related but my sunroof has been leaking. Last week we got a real heavy rain storm. My floor board was full of water. I drove to a local grocery store and a picture of an engine came on going down the road and power was greatly reduced. I got back out of grocery store and all was fine. Next day I went to car and when I hit the start button I can hear the fuel pump and a click and nothing else happens. Car will not start. Could this relay be my issue?

Just a heads up, the relays are mounted on trays that easily come out to get access to them, no need to remove things you don't need to.....

Hello man. I have some problem with my BMW e87 118d 143hp -08. I replaced new glow plug, Glow realy and still same fault codes. I try two Glow reley beru and hitachi bit only diferent fault codes. With beru I get cylinder 3 need to activate and with hitachi cylinder 2 & 3 to activate. Is this any fuse for Glow relay? Can you try to help me?

Hi Guys. I have 2009 bmw x5 4.8. The same noise is heard from the fuse box while starting and stopping the car. And when I try to turn off the car the headlights and the alarm lights don't turn off. I changed the fuse box on the front and the relays on the back, the fuse box and the roles from which this noise comes from. but the problem was not solved. The car does not turn off the ignition and the rear lights and headlights indicator lights do not turn off. I have to unplug the battery every time . Please help me

Hello! Great videos!! I have a 2011 BMW 328 i xdrive. I am having trouble with the dashboard error lights flashing on and off, the gauges jump, the climate control works - sometimes, the window and door locks work - sometimes, the headlights (on auto) have a mind of their own. I have replaced the battery, TPMS and footwell modules. It seems as though the car is constantly resetting itself. Could one of these relays be the cause? Thank you!!!

2005 330 CI 29,000 mi, car cranks but won’t start, but only when it’s cold out. Live in NY. Had to have it towed to the dealer, after ruling out fuel pump, sensor relay, new key, they say it’s the DME, they took out the DME and kept it inside over night put it back and the car that was in the cold and it started right up. They want $1900, is this fair? And do you think this is the right diagnosis. Can the cold affect the DME?

They told me I needed 9k worth of work including dme. Smh. In upstate ny and cant trust the dealer.

My light came on three times and car left us on the side of the road. When hot then the car would start later. I think I've seen a$7 control module engine on the code and 1 time it said fuel pump but the fuel pump with Checked out everything was okay.

Can I ask you ? before I get ripped off. I have 2013 x1 ..replaced waste gate actuator myself because mechanic told me was bad. Then they tell me diagnostic says there is positive going to the dme from waste gate but negative going out .. Could this be a relay? They are telling me I will probably need to replace dme

Sounds like you have reverse polarity going on after your replacement. Unfortunately this can cause your dme to be compromised! Try to reverse polarity again in the circut to the correct positive and negative wiring is best bet! The dme is fairly sensitive and it doesn't take much to render them unusable. If you haven't done the upgrade yet this is a good time to go ahead and get the 81 series module. General makes most n54s run much better as well as mileage and emitions improvements!

Battery has to be program to the car you can pay 150 to program it or buy a 88 dollar program tool

No crank no start! Car was cranking and starting before I changed the started. Pump is working, gas coming up through the rail so I m getting gas but it only turn over.

Good day I have a 2006 bmw 330i e90 that just start once and won't start again. It will crank but won't start until I leave it for like 6 hours and come back and try it again but it do the same thing again start once and won't start again. Even when it manage to start and I press the throttle it show since of lost of power. Code it showing me with my little scanner P0102, p0341,p1124,p0205 Code it showing me with my little scanner P0102 mass air flow meter, p0341 intake camshaft sensor,p1124 differential pressure sensor ,p0205 injector 5 having issues Meanwhile p1124 and p0205 has always been there solve them before and clear code but they always return

Where is the dme relay on a 2009 e90 335i. It’s not in dme container or junction box under glove box

Hay subscribed I need your professional help so it goes like this following issues: 1. No power to the radio idrive and sunroof controls. 2. Not getting cold AC air. The AC (snow flake) button doesn't light up. 3. Remote control will open/lock car door only during the first minute of opening or closing the car door. After the first minute, the car goes to sleep and there is no power available to activate the alarm.

how would you know this relay is faulty( this has been suggested may be the problem DDe relay). This is a question I asked on another site: I have had the car from new, This problem happen twice firstly 3 months driving in slow traffic car shut down fortunately I was in drive and was able to get to a safe area removed the plastic key about 5 min later started again ok, last week in traffic slow stop start queuing for car park managed to get into the car park suddenly not so lucky car was in park , same again waited about 5 mins it started ok . Yesterday drove to Birmingham and back no Problem. I have had the car plugged in and shows no faults( not BMW dealer), I spoke to BMW technician who said the fault would not show upon there system either its more than likely that it is the battery cable to the fuse board. I'd l..ike to know why this happens in traffic and not on a run.
