    95% of the biomass of any tree is carbon? NO! This is a great video - but this statement was an error. Trees are more like 46-50% C by mass. This was probably originally referring to the mass of CO2 absorbed by trees, but regardless, correct this in your notes if you are learning about this for the first time or sharing with students.

    Jess Parker said CO2, but the narrator incorrectly said carbon.

    Tree mortality, belowground (soil) biosphere not considered, presenter focusing solely on individual tree growth trying to argue carbon exchange (uptake) is futile and misleading. Just install an eddy tower if one wants an answer of carbon exchange with the atmosphere.

    No mention of Deciduous versus Coniferous. Also, this appears to come from a pro-forestry source. Forestry "Science" is always tainted by their assumption that they must harvest more trees.
