If I'm burning coal what should my lever positions be to allow the fire to slumber.

Advice to everybody, but welding gloves. Gives you a high enough cuff and temp protection that you can easily adjust logs in the stove.

That’s what my manual says(for a different stove) other videos show smaller fires as well so confusing don’t want to bugger it up 😂

@@lightend100 yeah that’s what I have done did a fourth burn last night with two medium size logs and will slowly increase log size and burn time over this week and hopefully all is well.

@@lightend100 don’t think he has to worry about seasoning the stove as his living room on has one wall and by the sounds of it is outside 😂 anyone else using any new stove for the first time should start with a small fire first, let it burn out and cool down and gradually increase the size and lights of burn over 2-3 fires. Make sure to touch up any scratches or marks on the paintwork before lighting any fires so it seasons the same colour also 😉

Entirely too much fiddling with the stove. I want to load it, light it, and forget it for a few hours. Also no blower and outside air inlet that I can see. Maybe I’ll just look at a pellet stove.

I don’t think this video is actually demonstrating a “first burn”
