for some reason, when it's slowed down like this, the song seems a bit more sad. It's almost like, the original version was sung after things got better for the people talked about in the song, and this version is what it was like while thing were still bad.

The thing about this song is I feel like it's shows that the cool kids are also depressed and sad. Like they've got problems at home or in their life. But the only thing that the kids that want to be them see is a perfect image of them so that's why they want to be them but they don't see what's really going on behing their perfect smiles...

This song reminds me of school. I was always just there. I never got noticed in the right way. When i did it was something stupid like gossip or some crap. I always worried about it all the time. Idk if I count as a 2000's kid, I was born 2006, but everything the 90's/2000's kids grew up with I literally know everything, all the songs, all the old TV shows, old commercials, etc, I grew up with two siblings who were born in the 90's so that helped a lot to influence what I watched and listen to. I may not be one officially, but I sure as hell am one, and I am so proud that I was raised listening to all these songs and TV shows. The best era imo was the 2000's

I wrote a story around 7 years ago, and basically there was this hero who was this happy person who chose to fight for others. (His famous quote was "I fight for the people, with or without a power i do have the power of hope") and the more i wrote the story I created these characters with backgrounds and lifes that felt so real. I finished the story while watching this song and when i finally wrote the last word.. I re read it all and each word for word felt like it was punching my heart "I literally went REEEE" and it made me feel so happy knowing I grew up on this story, Thanks for helping me finish it Zaddin (and Jiro lol)
