I have a Homelite chainsaw that for love or money won’t start. Has fire. Has compression. 2 different carbs. Gave up. So now I’m going to pull it back out to check the coil. Thanks Mike

I never saw you prime the engine before pulling the start 25 times. Might have helped.

Which start attempt? In most of them I think I said I could smell gas so a prime didn’t make sense although I did eventually try a prime in every attempt. With the coil being bad I don’t think it would have helped.

I have changed the vent on my echo several times and it still does not work. Why is my vent working?

@@randallcorbello2857 why do you think the vent is not working?

If you think you have a vent problem you can try running it with the gas cap loose. If it runs okay with the cap loose you are on the right track.
