This Intermediate level "ChalkTalk" features a very common rhythm problem -- a non-sustained run of a "Wide QRS complex Tachycardia." Is it non-sustained ventricular tachycardia or is it an atrial arrhythmia with aberrancy?
Dr. Nicholas Tullo, a heart rhythm specialist, will show you all the tips and tricks you need to read basic and complex rhythm strips and 12-lead ECGs.

Came just in time! I am studying to obtain the needed credentials on my telemetry floor. I appreciate the clear and concise method that this is explained ! There is a lot of info I have not used in a long time, so not familiar at all but your explanation helps a lot, making the entire process less scary!

As a vet student, I can say I really appreciate these videos. Ever consider making some vet-specific ones? Lots of species variation to be talked about ;-)

Could I email you of some EKG papers which is hard to interpret? If yes, what is your email address? I really love to learn an advanced EKG. Some of the rhythms are hard to interpret and we just do the basic.

Its sad that your hospital expects so little of you. Being able to read complex rhythm strips is a valuable skill.

Great! Many people don't really understand the difference between AV dissociation and complete heart block.

Why is not LBBB because i saw M shaped in these leads?

  • @ECGDoc

This is VT. Listen to the video. The presence of AV dissociation proves it's VT, so it cannot be LBBB aberrancy.
