Nice to see you playing some PWS. Even though it is lacking compared to TEW it is by far and away a smoother experience and so much easier to play and understand everything that is going on.

@@thefrenchted The biggest thing is the angles. Each angle can have multiple angles (storybeats) and do not have to have separate angles setup for each thing. I am not 100% but I have noticed that it seems to be used against you if you do multiple angles back to back instead of a single angle with multiple story beats.

I picked up this game and I agree, this is much smoother than TEW but then also lacks a bit of the depth. I'm really enjoying it so far, as am I enjoying the videos!

Nicole Bass was the guy with Jason, "the world's sexiest man." Rhyno didn't show up in ECW until start of '99. A friendship with MichPro to get some of those wrestlers in on loan, although i think realistically, any deal there had ended by 98.

Never heard of PWS! I am going to check it out as TEW is long sometimes.

Thanks for this video I usually play PSW and sometimes I can't find how to put together good stories. I could use some videos like this and obviously continue the series. good luck and encouragement. great things can be done here in psw

To be honest, I would like a company like the one you did at TEW2020. In current times, for the future of course you can't get saturated with things to do either.

Interesting to see. Wouldn’t mind seeing a playthrough of this with the original database.

Would be decent. Only issue is unlike the C-Verse, the default is very small and not well setup. There are a few C-Verse conversions though and there is a pretty easy way to convert any of them over to PWS but requires MS Access'

Great start... Note: That ECW during the late '90s was broadcasted on Madison Square Garden Network (MSG Network) normally REALLY late at night, like 1am or 2am, not live obviously, taped. Maybe you can get a deal going for that if you want to stay true to "how it was". Also, Bam-Bam was sort of the leader of the triple threat, due to he was a bigger name then Shane at the time.

Thanks for the information. I'm keen to start as true as possible, but from episode two onwards it's all original ideas. That network isn't in game, so i'll stick with what I can source from the current in game network, etc. Thanks for the information RE Bam Bam - i've big(elow) plans for him

This is awesome! Love the content! I agree that PWS is lacking behind TEW currently, but the developer is working hard to update it! I think it will be as good or better soon! I don't know if popularity works the same way as TEW, I haven't tested it out that much yet.

RE pop, it's not like this in TEW. I've pulled of 80+ rated shows with minimal production and a size of "small" numerous times

@thefrenchted You should check out the angle mod on the workshop. PJ89's is really good with some great promotion specific angle templates. I have seen some ECW specific ones like intros and things. The ease of getting mods in this game is one of the best parts!

Yeah the popularity is significantly different than how TEW works. In questions concerning doing things like Local to Global, the dev has stated that it is nearly impossible because the popularity works on a continent basis instead of regions like TEW. He did state that would be something they take a look at in the future.

also another note, by this point, Heyman owned ECW, as he bought out Gordon in '95.. that's when it went from Eastern Championship wrestling to Extreme Championship wrestling.. with an excellent start as Shane Douglas wont the NWA championship and threw it on the ground and held up the new ECW title, and thus kicking off EXTREME Championship Wrestling.

So excited for this series! In I’m trying to get into booking games. In your opinion so far would you recommend PWS or TEW for beginners?

PWS for beginners 100%, BUT TEW has so much depth, it's worth sinking your teeth in!

Push Hayabusa to the moon please and thank you. Honestly, with your FMW parternership, I am really looking forward to seeing how you incorporate their workers. Maybe an invaison angle or something with Hayabusa leading a FMW faction

NWA series is on hold at the moment until I find the motivation to pick it back up - might turn it into a fortnightly thing or something, but it's not dead

I believe it's called the "Who's Next 1998" mod in the Steam Workshop with a few minor tweaks from me
