@@timothyd9543 -- And even after all that, EC kept him around because he realized this bassist was the best he'd ever find and was perfect for his music. What finally did Bruce in was when he "accidentally on purpose" (his own words) played wrong notes on a US talk show appearance because he was upset at EC over something or other. Wow... hadn't seen this before, been a huge long time EC and the Attractions fan. Was so excited to catch them on the "Brutal Youth" tour back in 94 when they played at Irvine Meadows. Since I'm a bassist also, "Bruce Thomas" has always been one of my all-time favorite rock bass players. I nicknamed him "Mr leave no note unplayed" on the account that he's all over the place, his tone (big Botton) and that he always plays some killer grooves. I was surprise to see he wasn't playing a Fender bass at the Irvine show but instead a "Danelectro Longhorn Bass,” rockin' it non the less. Favorite EC albums... 1. "This Years Model" 2. "Armed Forces" 3. "Imperial Bedroom" 4. "Kojak Variety Vol.1" 5. "Spike" 6."Brutal Youth." Thanks for posting the video... Follow this Sear👍
