Here in Chicago I source by going down my neighborhood alleys! There are so many great throwaways just sitting out there. The end of the month is the best since renters are typically moving. 100% profit -- can't beat that!

Just sold 4 books for 50 euros, and i have 11 more books from the same sale. Sold 1 more the other day for 20 euros and kept 6 more for personal use. I bought them all for 60. A really nice and profitable flip. Cheers for your flips too Kevin.

I source at yard sales for the best profit margins. When I need a lot of inventory I head to an estate sale for quantity and unique items you can’t find at a yard sale

I'll source anywhere I can. Just recently Gamestop was having a 50% off sale on their clearance toys. I got sooooo many action figures. Just in time for the holiday shopping season :)

I got some of those as well. Especially using my GameStop membership reward to get $5 off…. So a $20 figure became a $4 and change :)

While not a creative sourcing of goods to sell tip, I do get most of my bubble wrap from my company, most companies have a receiving department or store room or inventory section, where they unpack the things the company purchased like computers and if you want to keep your reselling quiet from your co workers you don't have to say why you can just say you need some saved and you will pick up, you would be surprised how much they accumulate for you! :) This can also be a great sort of packing peanuts, boxes or whatever

More sourcing is clearance section at Lowe's, home depot, Walmart, target.. Also if you have the space and access to dunpster storage locker auctions

Thanks Kevin for this informative video! I think this is a great time to talk about sourcing especially leading into the last quarter and getting ready for Christmas. I did notice one person said they would start sourcing from their basement!! I’m that same person! I NEED TO GO THROUGH MY DEATHPILES!! I honestly don’t know what I have… and I can’t allow myself to bring in anything else.. can’t go to yard sales or thrift stores until I start selling from my basement! Usually it was Goodwill for sourcing , but their prices have been awful to make a profit!! I know you mentioned that one time Kevin, sometimes you can find something to flip for a product! Blue Ridge Momma is great at finding things!!😊 I was so happy you mentioned Eddie Murray #33 - please come to Baltimore soon!!! ❤

Poor Commonwealth Granny, LOL---she'll never live those menus down. ;) Back to sourcing, sometimes different neighborhood/town/city social media groups allow for people to post "curb alerts", where they'll post a pic and give an address, and whatever is out on the curb or at the end of the driveway is free, first come, first serve. Some communities have a lot of these. Sure you can drive up and down your area's streets before trash pick-up hoping to find something, but it's certainly nice to be told exactly where to go find something. :)

My creative sourcing which has become a common source for me… cleaning service down the street. From time to time they have the job of cleaning houses after the persons have left a lot belongings behind after moving! They will reach out to me…😊 My fave haul was with them…collector of Converse left 40+ pairs behind! That’s just one example of the goods I’ve gotten thru working with them.

I do yard and garage sales of course in the Spring and Summer months. Also do auctions including online auctions that I do good at. Thats pretty much it. The auctions go on during the winter months so no let up for merchandise.

It's easy to remember which is Chip and Dale. It's Chip who has the "chocolate chip" nose. The red is Dale.

I source anywhere I can. Yard sales, estate sales, Facebook, ebay, local stores, retail ect. I have a niche that I specialize/collect so I enjoy it and keep too much sometimes. Having knowledge of a niche or category can pay off big. Along with being persistent even when you're not finding any inventory to buy. Keep hunting and you'll eventually find the deals

You’re right that bar mats aren’t usually worth anything. But our kitchen is covered in them because they clean super easy in the dishwasher. My wife has created horrendous messes in those and they come out squeaky clean in a cheap dishwasher.

I had a great independent thrift store that I would source. However, they hired someone to list all the good stuff on Ebay and so now they only put out 'their junk' on the floor.

I have a complete Lowe Backgammon game that has been in my death pile, but not for too much longer. Lol. Always appreciate your wisdom and knowledge sharing. Extra pets for Pepper please.

I like sourcing curb alerts. One day I thrifted a vacant house. The family had already took what they wanted and everything else was free. It was hot, no electricity. Stuff everywhere. They said there was a snake and a dead possum in the back bedroom. I didn't check it out myself. Found a lot of glassware and I rescued The Potato Eaters framed print leaning against the wall.

Wow, that Norman Rockwell injection poster was in my Pediatrician 50 yrs ago. My son became his patient 35+ yrs later. That poster is still there all these yrs later. He fnally retired at 85 because of the virus.

This month I went to my first Boston Red Sox game in years. By chance, they were giving away Pedro Martinez (Hall of Fame Pitcher) Funko Pops. I made some easy sales a couple of days later. (And I think the lurkers near the park entrance were resellers. 😀.)

My sourcing is 99% my local thrift store. They always have sales and a variety of items. Stopped going to goodwill, prices are too high .

I mainly source ar thrift stores. And sometimes some retail arbitrage. Estate sales when I come across them but they tend to be pricey. I'd love to go to more yard sales. In the past I was always working every Saturday. Now that I have Saturday's free I'm looking forward to finding some good deals.

I've thought about starting a channel called "flip the flipper" where you pick the pickers ebay site and try to sell it for a profit. Kevin is pretty damn good though and I don't know how attainable it would be.

I've done a lot of sourcing on FB marketplace recently. It's great for finding collections of things to beef up your inventory with a decent number of good quality items. Also if you find one person selling something for a great price odds are they are selling more so it doesn't hurt to see everything a certain person may be selling. I've gotten some steals that way
