Great video! You always make resizing and packing look so easy.

I bought boxes at my local Grainger today. You are correct good value and convenient!!

Blade Runner Paper Dividers: when you’re using paper to separate and number stacks like your blade runner magazines, consider turning the white paper dividers sideways, so they stick out beyond the magazine edges. Then use a sharpie pen to write the divider number on the portion that sticks out. It’s an alternative that might make the process of getting to the number you want faster. An even better way, that costs a bit more, would be to purchase a few sets of 8.5 x 11 loose leaf binder index tab sets. That way the tabs stick out the side of the stack and index the flat stacks. Keep reusing the sets over and over.

The video clip of making the bat\poster box is great. You should turn that into its own video. Should be a good evergreen video to get some long term views.

I put your sticker and thank you card from my shed flips box cutter on my fridge, I just left it on the backing and used some magnets.

FYI: Mel from Back from Burnout (Australia) stores her book lots in bundles using her little cling wrap roller and ships the books in a bubble mailer.

I’ve been dying to hear, and waited to see if it would ever be brought up on its own…never was, so here I am! Those “pre-production” Star Wars comics, how do you know that’s what they are? Over KZread, they just look like basic B/W prints…could be scans of original comics and put on plane paper? How do you know they’re truly pre-production art? I ask bc if not certain, it could set up for an INAD.

I use Munbyn tape it has 2.7 thickness. My go to has 2.3 thickness. And it's cheaper than my go to.

Could almost use binder dividers between the comic pages and books so the tab can help get to where u need to quicker

Good video, you might benefit from some clear resealable poly bags, using poly mailers is more expensive and eventually it might lead to damage as you can't see if an item is getting bent

Lonnie, Where did you purchase your box cutter/rotary cutter knife? Brand name? I googled and couldn't find one. Thanks! My daughter loves ASMR. I enjoyed the video. We build about 95% of our boxes. I've never found it boring, nor relaxing. And certainly ASMR never crossed my mind. But, I do have to agree w/ other commenters. Watching someone else package was so relaxing. I think I'm going to have my daughter watch your video. New channel "Lonnie's Lambs ASMR Packaging", LOL! I wish Candice would have been home for the Harry Potter Fist Pump.

How your Mobile Internet Service working? Great I hope! We currently have Cox internet and I am getting tried of the constant breaks in service. Especially during the middle of a good show. or game.

So early I clicked on the video before the notification even popped up.

Lonnie have you thought about putting a pool noodle (or pipe insulation) behind the packing surface so things don’t fall behind the desk? I think that every time you put small things toward the back. Easy for me to armchair quarterback from my desk while I watch you ship but I would do it if it prevented me from getting on all fours digging for something that fell. Why don’t we see Pippa anymore?

Are you worried on the bleach kits and comics that they won't recognize the flat box at the bottom, and day they didn't get them?

No i forgot about that package the minute I put the label on. I guess that’s a possibility, but they know they ordered two items and there’s enough weight to the comics that they should feel that the box isn’t empty.

Would "sticky tak" help the tape dispenser not move? Just offering a "pro tip". :)

When using a Knife. Always cut away from the sausage!

Why not use vinyl boxes for books, I actually use bubble mailers.

You can use those, but people should reinforce envelopes with cardboard inside (sometimes several sheets) to prevent bending and corner damage. Also physically prevents them from being fed into envelope sorting/processing machines and bent/mangled (been there, had it happen.)

Could always upgrade to a brown paper tape machine... for certain things that actually does the trick.... especially if it's something you need to prepac to protect it before shipping...LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES

I always write do not cut on my packages where there is a possibility of them cutting the product.. I know they probably will still cut but I'm hopeful they will do it more carefully.

Put pieces of cardboard the length and width of your shipping box on the top and bottom of the box, right under the box's flaps. This will significantly reduce the risk of some idiot cutting into the box deep enough to damage the item inside. A pain, but like you said you have to package in anticipation that sometimes your packages will end up in the hands of idiots.
