I understand. But it's simple etiquette not to speak with someone about monetary investments or money in general.
“Nobody’s gonna but cardboard made in your basement”Peter crushing dreams. Lmao
Man I love the way you try wrap it up like three times. "Ok, Sonic, newly listed one more time" :) Thanks for the upload.
Really enjoy these Pete!
Thanks for the upload Pete. I've been anticipating a new episode of this.
These are great because they make it so I can surf video games on ebay and touch myself at the same time which has been my dream since I discovered the internet in 2001. Thanks Pete!
Great little series Pete! Reeaally like these types of videos :)
the length made it even better. Keep it up Pete!
Hey Pete Dorr! I love the videos as I thought I was the only one who "ebayed" with such focus and fun...love the videos! I know I am a few years late and I hate that, but I came because of MetalJesusRocks. Thanks again now to see how many more of these you do in 2017 haha!
Don't worry Pete, even through you didn't buy anything. I enjoyed hearing your tips and trick on eBay. Can't wait for the next episode
Looking forward to more of these videos
Recently, I discovered that on esty people sell vintage video games for cheap-fair prices.
$250 for Web of Fire isn't actually that bad as I've been curious and checked out what it had been selling for lately and it was going for $250-500.
Greatly anticipating Episode 3! The video length of this episode should be the minimum length of future episodes. As they say, time flies when you're having fun. I've started to give myself a small budget each week for eBay bargain hunting. Never knew how enjoyable it could be. Keep up the good work Pete! Greetings from Ireland.
Pete mentioned Pier Solar for $160. You can buy the Pier Solar Genesis Reprint *NEW* for $59 if you preorder it from WM's store. It will be getting a final reprint shortly, according to WM, but preorders have been too low. Now is the time to get in if you want the game. I ordered the Dreamcast version as well.
Glad you made another episode. Looking forward to future installments
That Shantae was from RareBucky, who has TONS of VGA and sealed games. Matt Bozon used to be an editor for IGN I believe, but is now a part of WayForward, who developed Shantae.
My brother and I absolutely love this! Please make more!
This is very entertaining. Im a hardcore ebayer myself. Its cool you like the Jaguar Pete. I bet you single handedly got thousands of people interested in Jaguar.

Jaguar has a few gems, but also a ton of crap. It is certainly a fun system to both collect and play games on though.
I love that its 45 mins I get to chill out with a beer and enjoy it :)
It was very relaxing to watch this video. I really liked it! You give really good insight into what we should look for in terms of pricing and how much something is really worth. Thanks for this video!
OOoooh another episode :D
Hi Pete! Really like the video, good stuff! I noticed you commented about not knowing why you were getting so much jaguar stuff in your ebay feed-- you can control what goes on your front page feed through the interests you follow (the searches you follow are located below the banner ad on the left side of your front screen)- it looks like atari jaguar is on that list on your screen- you can add and remove those interests depending on what you want to see, sorry if you already knew this, love the videos!
Only over 2 years late but I really enjoy this series and it is actually pretty helpful I am searching for Pokemon Stadium games and I can not believe how much they want for them, cheapest you can get them for now is 20$ without the case
Finally part 2 is here! I love the concept.
Alpha Omega Sin has the Mario box at around 37:15.
Fantastic video - keep them coming. Wouldn't worry about the length - with this kind of video, I wouldn't mind if it was even longer.
Your beard is the most amazing thing In 7 universes.
I love these videos Pete!watched you for 3 years and your my favorite youtuber on KZread keep it up!
It's crazy looking back at these prices. Blood Will Tell is now a $400 game.
A guided eBay tour with Pete Dorr himself! That´s awesome! ;-)
I finished Guardian's Crusade last summer, great PS1 JRPG. Love the simple graphics / textures, and the music was amazing as well.
Really enjoy these videos Pete hope to see more, I enjoy the tips and info that you share.
3:31 : Lots of people care about SEGA Saturn! :-( I love all your videos and their long length, it's so pleasant and relaxing to watch while working or eating lunch ~
@23:37: missed the Kojima signed MGS1 for $50. I wonder what it sold for?
Finally!!!! Please keep this one going Pete it's a great series! I smiled when I saw it in my sub box:D
reporting from the future; year 2023, @11:53 Pete buy all the BLOOD WILL TELL. !!!!!
I've actually been on the hunt for sonic adventure limited edition for a very long time. Your absolutely right, it is hard to find the game complete, but I think its one of the last remaining games I need in my north american anime style dreamcast collection.
thank you so much for these videos, because of you i started to collect vintage games too and i am loving it so far!
Pete you are amazing, You always find new ways to be more innovative.

I didnt realize that collecting SNES was a bad idea on eBay in December. I'm a nut. lol
ebay hunting is a sort of a video game itself, lol

Blood will tell for 30 bucks. "Way too much" 10 years later =$850 If we could only see the future

Blood Will Tell has shot up price, seems to have tripled in value to what I paid just over a year ago, need to get around to playing it some day, looks good.
Dang it Pete...I wanted to see you spend millions of dollars in this video XD But seriously though, this is actually a pretty interesting series.
Matt Bozon : Creator of Shantae and founder of wayforward
FUCK YES BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE! CHEERS PETE!
Should've watched the GBA lot with Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, Pete! An excellent tactical RPG similar to Fire Emblem/Advance Wars/FF Tactics. By no means great, but a nice little hidden gem that's more than affordable these days. Give it a look if you ever come across it again!
@PeteDorr

***** I own all of the King's Field games and the very first game that was exclusive to Japan. I actually enjoy having the Longbox copy, lol.
I would be very interested in a video that helps us learn how to spot bootlegs and fakes from the listings without having to like open up carts and whatnot after you've already purchased the item. Perhaps you've already made such a video and I just haven't found it.
too bad I dont have any money
Manga's are Japanese comics or comics made by Japanese creators in the Japanese language! It's not dirty magazines!
I love these video's they're really helpfull and help teach me the price guidelines but does anyone know a youtuber or a site that does PAL price guidelines it seems your games are so much cheaper then ours

What ever happens to old canned food that people collect does it just mold in the can or banish lol genuinely curious
I have that rare Sonic plush you saw I got that at my flea market for 25 cents! :D
loving this series! keep up the great work
Good episode, I enjoy the commentary on the stupid prices people put on things.
Really wish this is what it's like searching eBay for games in Australia.
great vid pete! keep em coming
Pete, I've noticed on eBay a lot more retro 'sealed' games than there used to be. As these go for a lot more than unsealed games, do you suspect the sellers are sealing them themselves?
@bustaphatty

I buy mint retro games seal them and then relist for 3 times the price. Easy monies.

YEAH another ebay vid!!!
Great video, Pete!! Lovin' the series!
ahhh man no love for radical rex? haha i actually enjoyed the genesis version. its just a simple platformer where u can charge up your flame breath. i recommend it. the biggest downside is at about halfway through the game there is a flying Pterosaur boss which seems to be programmed for cheap deaths. i actually thought the last boss was easier than him.
So i'm new to Retro Collecting, And i still have my Sega Genesis model 1 console, I was thinking about just starting with collecting the genesis Games and work my way up to other consoles. is that a good idea? If so my next console to work on is PS1.

I have Mega Man 1-6 for NES all unboxed (with Nintendo sleeves) all are in very good shape and work well. What would be a good "buy it now" price for eBay? I have an eBay account and use it frequently put have never held an auction (should I accept returns?). Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I like these videos! Keep it up!
Thanks for this Pete, you are da man !
finally. i love these
Ah man I am hooked!!
eBay, the road to purchase
