Not an accurate review. You said that when you step off the scale and wait for the display to turn off, the scale "zeroes" itself. It does not. It remembers the first weight and repeats it when you step back on. Try this: Weigh yourself. Step off and wait for the display to go dark. Pick up an object that weighs about half a pound, like a can of vegetables. Step back on the scale. It will register your original weight and will not register the additional half pound. That's because it's just repeating the initial weight. You would have to hold something weighing a couple of pounds in order for the scale to recognize the difference. Or you would have to wait about five minutes after the display goes dark. THEN the scale would "zero" out -- that is, forget that initial weight.

Harwood Farcourt I just tried what you stated and it did start when I stepped back on with my last weight but then added the 8 oz I had in my hand. Since it will zero as you said in 5 minutes that means that the first time you stepped on the scale that day it would have been zeroed. Regardless it is accurate every time you step on it and it does zero even if it does take 5 minutes does that really matter? It still give you the same weight 6 minutes later (at least mine does) there was no change in my weight 6 minutes after it blanked out. But thanks for telling me about the can test as it verified to me that it was working perfectly and picking up the 8 oz difference each time. Thanks for watching and commenting.
