I live in ponchatoula but I’m from Panama city Florida originally, fried and smoked mullet is on the menu in a ton of restaurants. Very dense and fluffy white meat. Delicious

My grandmother loved mullet. She would fry it up! Been years since I've tried any , but i thought it was a good tasting fish.

Vinnie if you catch a couple big ones and clean em up like that, smoke em or fry them and pair it with some corn grits . I had em in Florida like that came back home to Houma and did the same thing. Their mullet is a little cleaner but still taste damn good

That is a shame that people cant even respect nature and just throw those fish on the side of the road like that and ending their lives.dont even understand these fish are depened upon for food or to catch more food they depend on themselves as do others that stuff is ignorant and a crime against nature.

I have eaten Mullet here in Louisiana. We caught it down in Cocodrie and my grandmother would not let us through the Mullet or Hardhead Catfish back. She said, " you, we, or I caught it. We gonna eat it! It came from these waters. So it must be good! " LOL Love the videos please don't ever stop!!!

Usually those 2 spots are good for shrimp when they have a storm out in the gulf that pushes the water In like that. Pretty sure I know the person that leaves all the fish on the ground like that he does it every time he goes out to throw the castnet. I love mullet fry them up just like any other fish I find they taste pretty good.
