This one hurt! This is in competition with the Chocolate Primotali for the hottest chilli I have ever eaten. I was actually impressed with the flavour. Excited to make a sauce with them next year. Have I tried one before? no f**king way after seeing/hearing the Chill Chump react like that. I'm scared.
I really love how Ms Chilli Chump proceeds with her business regardless of her husband almost dying 😎

Love how Caroline giggled in the backgound!
I grew reapers last year for the first time and had a huge crop. Made some killer fermented sauce, and ate one off the plant for giggles. Taste was delightfully tropical, but I had hiccups for an hour, almost puked, and I questioned my life choices. Good show.
@01:02 the laughs started and just went on and on and on. Caroline is so cool about it all she just added to the laughs. Thanks for all you do for the chilli loving community Sean, and of course Caroline.
GONE?? That's the "gift that keeps on giving" both on the in..and on the way out! Yeeeikess..Red-faced tells the story of your experience. Thanks for sharing Mr. CC

I just got your CCSK 2024 and your gift of KS Starrling.. Thank you sooo much Mr. and Mrs. Chilli Chump.. :)
You handled that beast remarkably well! That thing looked angry. Sadly missed the livestream but glad I was able to catch this video.
Really great to have some insight into chilli growing in the UK! Just bought a few seeds off you, thanks for the vids bro

That reminds me of the time I stupidly ate a whole Carolina reaper and immediately regretted it, for hours it burned its way through me. I've gotta try that Mustard mama looks fiery. Stay spicy.
I just happened to be drinking a Guinness, as I watched this! Cheers mate! I feel for you!
i love doing a hot chili pepper challenge by myself lol. had my grandkids try some of the less hot ones. hilarious they jump around a bit.
Yeah
I think I have one here so I might have to make that my next video! Great review mate! Lol did the Guinness help?
Absolutely BRUTAL! The suffering we do for the craft, I suppose... This coming season I'm trying a seed that is supposed to be an F4 of a BMM and a Beast cross... The photo of the phenotype this grower is pursuing looks like a Reaper crossed with a thistle... Absolutely frightening! He calls it Zing... I can only hope I get through it as well as you managed!😂
Best Guinness commercial ever!

lol the laughing and smirking going on in the background
And the hiccups... Awesome 👍🏼 gone but not forgotten 😮 I think we could do with a tiny more Mrs chill chump on camera so we can see her expressions. 😂
Hats off to you that is a beautiful but mean looking pod.
Well done
Mrs Chump looked like there was no sympathy for your pain with that smirk on her face. Ha ha😂 That looked painful. Didn't see I was in a drop chat. I'll get that brave one day.
Hahaha I love you brother!
Taking one for the Chili Team, thx. Lol the snickers the mrs made while your suffering through nuclear fallout is hilarious. 😂💪🏼
Big boys don't cry. 🤣
Note to self, take a smaller bite! 😂😊
Try hopping around in circles. One of my neighbor kids ate a Puma hot pepper from my garden and the hopping seemed to help him quite a bit.
Furthermore, I’m dying to try a Carolina Reaper AND/or a Pepper X.

Lekker pittig 😂😂
Could you please tell me if you are still fermenting in vacuum seal bags. I watched one of your videos which was four years old and you were fermenting peppers in a vacuum sealed bag and you also said that you wasn’t going to always do it that way but for now you’re having fun with it. So that brings me up to date which one do you prefer the bag or the jar? Thanks
@ChilliChump

@@howardbellamy6301 I have done a few videos since then talking about this. Essentially I use the vacuum seal method for small batches, typically tests and experiments when developing a sauce. Then moved to larger containers with airlocks for my production sauces that I sell.

@@ChilliChump well, I was just wondering because I have about three pounds of super hots that I grew and it just so happened that your video popped up about the bag fermentation so that gave me an idea and that’s why I am reaching out to you to see what’s the best method for me to ferment them. By the way, I still have one bottle left of your Sting hot sauce that I purchased from you a while back. What I would like to do with my peppers is make some type of fruit flavored fermented hot sauce any suggestions I would much appreciate it? Thanks
@ChilliChump
10 күн бұрын
@howardbellamy6301 when doing a fruit based hot sauce I wouldn't ferment the fruit along with the chillies. This would result in the fruit changing flavour. Add the fruit after fermentation is complete. And make sure to hear pasteurise properly

@@ChilliChump thank you so much for that advice. One more question, do I do my fermentation with my 3 pounds of chilies in a jar with the air lock or vacuum seal?
Chilli poes clap 😂😂

A LOT of people don't realize the R&D process MUST include eating this stuff. The raw, smoked, dried maybe because we HAVE to get the difference in favors and we are sitting there TRYING to.analyze it, making notes.😂😂
Maybe just eat 1/2 next time? You can taste it and perhaps survive the experience better.
It is entertaining! Interesting that it hurts inside the ears I had this only a few times and that is the worst type of pain coming from heat in my opinion. Only a few varieties caused this so dar
