Eating our way through Siem Reap, Cambodia. In this video we experience the amazing food available in Siem Reap, from it's quirky cafes serving the usual western meals to the local restaurants providing the very best of Cambodian cuisine and everything in between.
Not just that, we BOTH eat each meal for under $20! And before you think they were small meals, think again! We went all in with starters, mains, desserts and drinks for an amazingly affordable price.
We also tasted some of the best gelato we've ever had and we weren't even in Italy! We also can't forget to mention the amazing Cambodia cake we had at a roadside market.

Guys, seems you really have good times and are fans of curry :) So funny, like you, I always had fresh coconut everyday but not at lunch anymore as I could not be able to eat. You are not vegetarians but you eat a lot of plant-based meals? I'm vegetarian on the path of vegan. Next time, I will try Khmer Kitchen Restaurant too and some other restaurants you mentioned. Seems really delicious! What are your favourite Khmer dishes? 17:12 you are lucky to eat 2 of the most typical Khmer cakes :) Do you know that Angkor Beer has received numerous global awards, including Gold Medals from the prestigious "Monde Selection" in Belgium, an international quality institute. And Cambodia won the World's Best Rice 2022 Award in World Rice Conference (WRC), fifth time: in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018.

Do they use dollar in Cambodia?

Hey, no they use Cambodian Riel and US Dollars. We got by with both as they are widely accepted. Just watch out for the larger dollar notes, unless they are in excellent condition they might not be accepted.

Yes we use dollar in Cambodia. A dollar equals 4000 riel
