OMG! I went to Vietnam in October of 2022. We went to Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Hue, Halong Bay, Hoi Anh & Hanoi. I absolutely fell in love with the country & am thinking about moving there. The country is beautiful, the food delicious and the people are sweet, caring, kind & willing to help anyone. I can not WAIT to get back there! ❤❤❤❤Hope you enjoyed your time there!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I loved your willingness to eat outside the Box. I have had duck feet, duck tongue & duck gizzard. I have eaten silk worms twice and I eat chicken feet every time I have dim sum.

This has got to be the most out of the box video yet. I almost needed a disclaimer 🙂 I commend you for embracing the culture and taking us on your journey. I think I was screaming and talking to my phone everytime you prepared to eat something from your 3rd stop. Well done.

I love this foot tour series, I'll try it too when I visit Hanoi......but maybe I'll pass the LIVE WORMS... or I'll k*ll them (😣😣) before eating. Girl love this video, truly out of your comfort zone. Way to go Sis. I wish I could have done this. I was smiling during the whole video. Keep being great. I see some light in my future. Be safe and continue to enjoy yourself. Blessings!!!
I enjoy trying new foods. For me its more a fear of getting ill abroad. Not from the food, but d/t food handling/storage. So generally I avoid “eating out” as much as possible while I travel. Cause nothing worse that being ill abroad. I admire your courage! ❤❤❤
GIRLLL you crazy! hahahah i am SO proud of you, seriously you had me screaming at the damn screen! go on now! 🔥
I had to turn my phone face down with the bugs but I kept my AirPod in listening. You rock!!!
I am boring, God bless you sistha!🙏🏾❤️ I am proud of your stama and trying the food.
I am always willing to try things atleast once! You did that 👏🏾👏🏾

Did I said "the eggs of an ant"? LMAO I must been drunk =)) Kudos to you Antoinette! I didn't know this was out of your comfort zone til we met. But you rocked it! I started this fear factor with a fear that maybe I was introducing the dark side of our culture, maybe I should just stick to the normal delicious Vietnamese food, but just like you said at the end of your vid, I am happy that I was brave enough to share this as a way of celebrating differences as well as similarities. Respect your understanding of the culture differences and open to develop the awareness, and have meaningful interactions with locals. Happy to have you as a new friend and to virtually follow your great journeys!

lol. It was much fun, Mai!!!!! I look forward to seeing you again!
Many of us have been conditioned to fear things that some cultures embrace as part of life.
GURL!!!! You are brave. 😟I got scared when I saw you on the back of that moped that area looks seedy AF. When you said, we’re not in the touristy area anymore. I said NOPE! Years ago, I read a book by a lady from New York who had a rich father. She dropped out of college and toured the world volunteering at restaurants in exchange for experience. There’s a fancy term for it but it escapes me now. Anyway, in her travels, she went to Vietnam and tried dog. Yep, you heard right, dog. I paused on the duck scene. I hope you do not eat dog😫 I wouldn’t try any of that stuff you’re eating. 😂 I’ll stick with the veggies & rice.
Cheers 🍻 to trying new things!
You are hereby my new hero cause I couldn’t have done it. None of it! But I’m so proud of you for trying something new

This is amazing that you are in Vietnam trying new foods… you are brave, not sure if I could 🦗🦟🐌🪱 I’m glad you got to experience it though. Maybe one day I too will try chicken 🐓 feet 😬
I prefer not to be told what I am eating when I am abroad so I don’t sike myself out. But those live worms. Oh goodness. Your reaction to the cricket would be me.
This is one of my fave vid's of yours. It's inspiring, important and fun. I love what you said at the end of the vid as well-100% agree. Let's do it-anyways!

You are BRAVE! This is definitely not food for wimps 😳😨! Enjoy stepping out of your comfort zone! Safe travels 🙏🏽!
How fun! I visited Hanoi (and Hoi Anh) back in 2018, and I also allowed my driver to take me to places he thought would be interesting. I didn't eat any weird foods, though. I'd already experienced that while living in Thailand. 😝😅 Your videos definitely have me missing life in Southeast Asia! ❤️
😆 the cricket!
Good video, not sure how much I would actually eat. but at least try. waiting on the next adventure
Wow very cool that u try anything sweet.

I give you soooo much credit for trying everything. I don't think I could do it
You were hilarious and much braver than me! I wouldn't have eaten half of that stuff. I gag too much.
Antoinette, I like your glasses. Please share where you purchased them.

I need to know where you got those glasses and what the name of them are? So cute!!
I am from Los Angeles, Ca have lived here all my life, my father was in the Navy and he cooked all kinds of foods from his travels, so I learned very early to try and love new things, I love frog legs, escargot, and so many other things that us black people won't try, I love that you are adventurous!
Your braver then me, I said no to the duck embryo. Vietnam was a beautiful diverse country.
Chicken feet are delicious both the hot & cold versions.
You did try. I was surprised by the still moving grubs!
I'm here to leave a like...won't watch I got a weak tummy...🤭💕
I was gagging with just the thought of eating most of those foods. The chicken feet looked good though. Yummy 😋

You are brave .. I saw those embryos on a show years ago and thought it was so repulsive I would die. Too many textures .. just grab a baby duck and throw it in your mouth! 😮 They started you off pretty hardcore! Yikes!❤
LMAO😂
That was awesome, but yucky too, at least it looks that way. Live worms 🐛 no thank you !
