Because of being served in North India this is the price. Even tuck shops in Dilli Haat are serving south indian food at almost this price.

South me chhole bhature itne ke milte hsin and north me 60-70 ke. Toh region pe depdnd karta hai

I think it's both ways.. I am in bangalore and North indian foods or snacks are quite expensive.. And similarly in North in most places South Indian foods are expensive
