That Jamaican guy looks like he knows what he is doing. Most men in Jamaica started cooking from age 10. I am Jamaican and I started cooking real Jamaican meals at age 10. Both my parents worked and they came home in the evenings so I had no choice but to learned how to cook. Great episode.

I love when people enjoy my countries food, we Jamaicans season with love. Caribbean food in general is a food full of favor and love. There are so many Island to try Trinidad and Tobago, Haitian, Guyana, Barbados ……the list goes on ! Island people use the a lot of our natural herbs and spices so anyone watching give it a try! 🤤

Curried goat is my favorite!! ❤️ I cook a lot of Indian and Pakistani mutton (goat) dishes! I do not eat a lot of meat, but goat is probably my favorite! I also love Jamaican rice and peas, Jamaican vegetables and Festival! If you want a real treat, try Cow Foot soup!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is my fave as well! I have several nearby in mid-City that are closerbut when la brea is open, this is really my go to for pickup for flavor, value, HOURS, parking, and service! Other customers are also always nice as well. Good vibes!

In Jamaica, we mostly eat curry goat or chicken with plain white rice. Curry Pork is good as well.

@@RockstarEater Hey..so I always stay at Gold Coast Resort & Casino on Flamingo because I discovered Ping Pang Pong there and I love Asian cuisine. Ping Pang Pong is the top rated Asian restaurant in Las Vegas nestled inside Gold Coast and the Jamaican restaurant we went to was right on Flamingo close like 20 blocks - Tasty Island. Delicious. I was in heaven!

Definitely worth visiting

Thank you so much for trying Jamaican food. I passed by several times and never had that one. I will definitely try it next time. I’m not sure when you are going to Las Vegas but if you do, please try Jamaican Vybz Bar and Grill. I have not tasted any Jamaican food other than mine at home and a few others that taste as good as theirs. Please tell them that Marcia from California sent you.

Jamaican food is delicious, I usually try it when I visit cities. Good flavors..the plantains are really delicious. Fish is also well cooked and it's not too spicy. Good upload. Will check out the restaurant for a free drink and great food.

Also-- he didn't mention... But the veggies are amazing. Most Jamaican places come with cabbage (except natraliart on Washington are greens) and CountryStyle does a great job seasoning theirs. I think it's my fave out of all the spots I go to.

can’t come to Inglewood and seek out the best Jamaican food and not visit Hungry Joe’s. By far the best of the 6 Jamaican spots in Inglewood. It’s the authentic people’s spot. King of L A.

Curry goat and rice and peas is my favorite yard dish.

I go there all the time and it is THE BEST JAMAICAN FOOD SPOT IN LA. I live in but I drive to Inglewood just for this food. Everything is delicious. You absolutely gotta try it. My favorite is the oxtail and fry chicken combo plate 🤤…. So goood!!!!

Country Style is probably the best frfr. As a Jamaican living in LA there isn’t a lot of competition and the prices are kinda wild… some places out here your paying 25 for Ackee and Saltfiah.
