I started going to Smorgasburg LA when they first opened several years ago. They closed for a while during the pandemic. They've opened back up, bigger and better. Free 2 hour parking. Go with a group to try and share many items. They've even had whole grilled alligator.

I described Smorgasburg LA like the hundred best food trucks all in one place. Its gourmet, upper level so not cheap street food but well worth it. Everything is Instagram photo worthy.

My favorite, Smorgasburg LA!!!! Love SmokeQueen, SuperFrites, and Llama Peruvian Tacos!!! I go with my husband and daugher. I bring a tote with tuperware and hit up abiut 7 places and bring lots of leftovers for dinner. Love the video ❤

You asked for comments on use of Sausage as a burger patty. I do know one other place it’s been done. In Milan Italy outside San Siro stadium home of AC Milan . It has been years since I had a proper Panino con la salamela. Only found outside the stadium on game days.

Its on Alameda. Its called the ROW now, it used to be the produce mart where all the trucks dropped off produce for the city. Just a warning, it is near Skid Row. The local itself is very clean, very safe.

As much as it looks great, I can not bring myself to drive downtown. There's to much trash, homeless, and drug addicts on your way in and out. It's depressing and I don't feel safe.
People do the Birria de Res (beef) because they are cheap!!!!!! and not from Jalisco Mexico.
How is the parking?😮
$16 for chicken and rice!? Pass. Everything overpriced. Been there a couple of times. Low ROI is a turnoff.

This place is way over rated and over priced. Nothing street about these prices. The essence kf street food is affordable and delicious. Either they pay too much "rent"for the spaces or they are just greedy. Some stalls charges way more than actual restaurant with overhead.
