I love how this was so morally grey. Was Dr. Petrov wrong for wanting to feed the Earth and save it? Was it wrong to create living abominations for the sake of eating them, even if they couldn't feel it? Did he have secretly evil intentions given that he could add and remove features and they all looked terrifying?

There was a lot of undertones of being homosexual/ dealing with homophobia as well, when they were talking about the 'rabbits' it was also referring to their relationship, and specifically when the warden said "putting your meat into the dirt and hoping something will grow" i got the vibe that it was him referencing how they were two men together, same with 'feeding diseased meat to our children' sounds alot like how people think that people just being gay is 'inappropriate' for their children and all that. Very fantastically written.

I’m starting to think horror games stem from real nightmares the game creators had. Because THIS feels straight out of a fever dream.

For how horrifying this was, I also found it strangely kind-hearted. I wasn't expecting any bizarre trans-humanist (so used to that in cyberpunk settings) warm-fuzzies. I really liked the overanimated semi-photo 2d characters, the photo elements made them particularly uncanny. I'm so used to seeing that animation style applies to waifu games; it's neat to see it used so effectively here.

I was gonna make a joke about Keating having terrible taste in men, but no, it was Petrov whose taste was worse.

Charles and Petrov had... so much going on behind the scenes LMFAO, I do love some morbid homoerotica in my horror games. That plot twist at the end fucked me uuuup though, omg

As someone with degrees in Zoology and Biology this was an oddly fascinating game. I also really enjoyed the way they animated the portraits during the recordings. It was very unique.

The most disturbing part is that the warden actually didn't mind the whole "animal plant" thing, his monologue is basically just accusing protagonist of being gay.

You can't change my mind that Dr. Petrov definitely slept through his ethical course

I like it when horror stories go the "sci-fi plausible" route, you only need so much biology mumbo-jumbo for the common man to be like "yeah, I can suspend my disbelief".

Considering that, at its core, the story was a tale of love and perhaps misguided humanitarianism, I think I can figure out what the Jack and Ulna project was about from a few context clues... or at least, I can figure out what I want to believe!

this was really disturbing but also really heartfelt and sad nearing the end; it makes me disturbed but also flushed from the obvious endearment Charles held towards Dr.Petrov

I am probably looking too deep into this, but as someone with a background in biology, the entire premise is kinda funny.

If I had a nickel for every game Manly played that had a gay couple surrounded by questionable fruits, I’d have two nickels
