actually we have to do some research on it since it depends on moisture content.

It would work on coffee cherries if you increased the airspeed to reduce the temperature - coffee is more delicate than rice and maize - therefore you do not want to go above 55 degrees centigrade. Some testing would be required to get the right airspeed to temperature. We did not try it becuase coffee is so expensive. You could use some of the dried coffee waste (husks) for fuel as well

The moisture loss changes per hour as it gets dryer - i.e. the moisture loss is quicker in the first hour and takes longer in the last 30 mins as you are moving moisture from the center of the grain to the outside.
