Dryer - Generation 2 of FINIC
This video is to demonstrate practically the heat generation of the equipment. See how.
The FINIC Generation 2 dryer is an equipment to dry a wide range of agricultural produce.
The batch capacity varies according to produce type but it is flexible to handle the specific temperature requirement of the produce to be dried by an effective system of temperature control achievable in few seconds. For rice and corn, it can accommodate 1 ton (20 bags each of 50kg) in a batch. It will take 3 hours to dry rough rice and 10 hours to dry.par boiled one.
The equipment is powered by a 4KW motor of single phase with an RPM of 1,040. It can also be powered by a Diesel engine of 8 HP.
The fuel used to generate the heat is engine waste oil consumed at the rate of 8 liters per hour.

My reference to the temperature generated is for the bin of the dryer. The temperature in the fire box actually exceeds 900 degrees Celsius.

I have to ask regarding your design dimensions Length x Width x Height then the flat screen height and how many hours consumed to reach the required moisture content. This is very useful to others, i'm from philippines. Done subscrbe to you.
Have you considered insulating the dryer and the burner and see if that will reduce fuel use? It doesn't have to be fancy. Thin plywood may work.

The fire box is insulated and so also is the roof top of the heat exchanger. I Agree with you that the better we insulate it, the better the energy efficiency will be.

Firstly, it is environmentally friendly in that the waste oil that would have ended in waterways will be disposed off in an enviromentally friendly way and you do not cut down trees for use as fuel by using very cheap engine waste oil. FINIC dryers are also flexible to use agricultural waste/residue as fuel - corn cobs, rice husk, palm kernel shells etc. Thank you for the inquiry.

Not at all my brother. Fumes coming from the firebox as a result of burning of waste oil, have nothing to do with the dryer bin. Absolutely not the case. Only clean air enters the heat exchanger and exchange heat with the flue pipes and then further pumped into the plenum of the dryer bin without mixing with fumes/smoke.
