Easy yogurt cake recipe. No flour, no oil, gluten free!
When you have yogurt, make this easy cake that you will be amazed! baking cake is very easy and doesn't take much time.
Greek yogurt cake
Ingredients:
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp salt
- Beat with a mixer for 5-6 minutes.
4 egg yolks
pinch of vanilla powder
50g sugar or xylitol (1/4-1/3 cup)
juice from 1/2 lime / lemon
lime / lemon zest (optional)
- In another bowl, beat well with a mixer.
- add the whisked egg whites, mix carefully
350g (1 1/2 cups) Greek yogurt / Greek-style cream yoghurt
50g (1/3 cup) corn stach
Note:
Eggs must be at room temperature
- use 18cm round baking pan with baking paper
- Bake at 160°C/ 320°F for 45-55 minutes.
Leave the cake in the oven with the door open for 10 minutes
- cool down completely before cutting the cake
- garnish with powdered sugar
