Hello Clint .I was wand -ering when you would make a foot in the door video on carving😉 I have seen several woodturning videos on making a wand but this carving video is so much more interesting and with some very handy tips and after watching your video have just ordered the knife that you are using , so, here goes at last lol Cheers mate , Bram Ps I am not on facebook anymore as it was beginning to be too distracting

Haha glad you liked it mate! You'll find that knife useful for many different things I bet. Oh Facebook can certainly be distracting for sure

I've just broken down some shipping crates which held different machines amongst the different pieces of wood was some about 3/4 of an inch square by about 14i inches,long it's straight grained and quite light in weight and I was thinking to myself what could I use it for I know a wonderful come in from the workshop,turn on you tube and see your video

There's certainly things you can make with small tools but I reckon making something like this is easier with a knife for sure

@@ClintRoseCarving I didn't have the chance to pick up a knife so I tried a stanley knife and it works surprisingly well. I'm halfway through my second wand now.

The next time I have to fill in a form and it asks for Occupation I'll definitely write Supremo Sharpening Person. It'll be a lie but it'll feel good to write it down.
