I love your energy!!!! You're absolutely right about the business. I gotten my NJ Cosmetology license in 94 and by 99 I was out of the business.. I was young, ambitious and hungry to learn the business. I was 21. By the time I was 26 I was out. I'd gotten discouraged because those that been in the game for years wouldn't show me what I wanted to learn. I wanted to be a better stylist. I wanted to do cuts better, to curl better and talk about being mistreated and abused. I believe now is what happened to me was a form of intimidation. I've learned that a lot of stylist feel threatened that you may become better than they are....I was a baby in the hair game and so much was trendy back then. Thank you for being transparent. Watching you and your technique has sparked me to reinstate my license and try it again

Thank you for sharing. Every time I want to learn a new cutting technique, I have to rely on Stylists who do non-ethnic hair. I find that black hairstylist DO NOT like to share their hair cutting techniques unless you pay. I understand some training do costs but a simple tutorial will suffice for a lot of us that are needing a few tweaks to add to our existing knowledge. You're very thorough for this to be a short tutorial & it has helped me tremendously. Keep up the amazing work & that energy too. Each one teach one...I adore it❤️

I love how you stated"I'm only going to clip the ends" and you showed cutting the tips because beauticians has a major confusion with determining cutting hair off and clipping ends.... you are heaven sent
