I'm glad that Brian is in the van in showcasing this promising coating technology for our cars; his methodology, thoroughness and honesty shine through(pun intended). The way I look at this is that this is a technology in its infancy that will improve over time as the chemists at these companies learn more about it and further refine it. Brian has mentioned this in a previous video and so I think we will see improvement in the technology and more car care companies getting on board with it in the not too distant future. I think it would be great if they could incorporate this Graphene technology in car wash shampoos, as a sort of maintenance topper that can extend the life of these Graphene coatings and waxes.

Great video. I have the Griot's Glass sealant and it works great. I applied it after a wash, & using carpro's ceriglass. Way better than rainx imo

I remember seeing you in a video using 3 drops of tach system moonlight on your correcting pad is there any benefit in doing that with turtle wax hybrid solution ceramic polish and wax will it give me anymore durability or benefit.. Loved the bump in gloss on the gloss meter and that look on your vette. Admittedly a little let down on durability. I’ve got EXO v4 as a topper on CSL and it seems to attract dust. I’m looking for a new topper that dust doesn’t want to settle on. Open to anything. Dirt is automatic on Maui.

Thanks for another honest review, Brian. Seems like this might be a decent product for a garage queen show car, but not so much for a daily driver. The look is impressive, but durability looks suspect. Kind of reminds me of 3D Poxy in that regard. Looks like I'll be sticking with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating 👍

How does Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating hold up in terms of durability? Is it as durable as Turtle Wax Seal N Shine?

@@mujjuman I think s&s lasts larger than hybrid ceramic spray -

Price is very competitive with higher grade waxes, similar in price to Wolfgang Fuzion 3-oz jar. Both type of waxes at a cost per application are not bad, just do not use much! Looking forward to the window coat product test!

First, I love all of your videos. I wish you were closer, but being in the midwest your detailing tips hit home, hard water, rain, snow, etc! With this, how do I interview a detailer to find someone of your caliper? I have a 2018 Trackhawk, that I drive infrequently and I'm looking for the highest shine I can get. I'm thinking this product, but the car needs a good paint correction, and I'm never sure how to ask the right questions. Any thoughts?

I would be more likely to try the coatings. I have stopped using waxes back when I found out about Hydro2. It never has been easier than that and I use it on the whole car too.

RedEX I expected no less from Brian’s own car but it’s still impressive isn’t it, is there something greater than dripping wet mirror like gloss to describe it?

Love the shine on your Corvette! Since I discovered that your shop isn’t too far from where I live, what kind of refresh do you offer for a car that’s a few years old? It’s a low mileage, garage kept car, with a standard Collinite wax base. Also, do you recommend any paint protection that’s the best against wind blown sand and small pebbles? I live on the Jersey shore area.

Really nice! I just had my 2004 c5 graphene coated and am really happy with the performance of the coating. The question I have...with the wax are you not concerned about picking up any contaminants from your car and putting back in the jar. (No offense intended. Your car is obviously awesomely clean). What do you do to prep the surface? Thanks. Steve

I want to get my Jetta, (I know, I know), to the stage of gloss your C7 is, Brian. Maybe I’ll have a Vette of my own to detail one of these days. Until then, I’ll have to settle for perfecting my technique on the Jetta.

Can you use a iron remover please, after all you would want to see how good it does to something like that if a car pro iron remover is used on say car panels or painted surfaces you want the wax or products to make sure it lasts and i believe its a good way to test it with that type of products any band of iron remover is great?

Would you recommend this wax for a car that is rarely driven such as a garage Queen?

Clear graphine is a bit suspect The gloss looks nice whatever is in it Beautifull car you have there

Been using this wax since last year and it is a decent wax but doesn’t last long. A couple of maintenance washes and you can see the drop off. Great gloss levels and application but that’s it.

Kamikaze Infinity wax is supposed to last around 12-18 months, so really about 8?....or close to the same as this?

How to apply art de shine graphing obsidian wax??

Got a question about the wax. You said it's better to apply a wax before apply this crystal wax. I use a Maguire wax, is that okay or should I use a particular wax? Great video by the way!

No particular wax. It bonds well with every wax or sealant out there.

Hello. Please do reply. I am an amateur in car detailing world but planning to open a new venture. Can you please recommend me some brands to be associated with to use and distribute theor products? Asking this because people in my country are marketing their detailing business based upon the brands theu use. Ive picked up a few. Let me know if their are others. G Techniq/Modesta/ Feynlab/Nasiol/ ColornDrive. And what are brands like Adams, 303, turtle wax? Do these also provide complete ceramic coating ranges like the ones i mentioned? Also, carpro,gyeon and sensha is already available in my country.want something new and good.

He did a video using IGL graphene products not too long ago that was a little less expensive than these. I have used them and loved the results.

5 to 10 washes? I have been using NuFinish for years and it bead wash after wash. This would last me less than a month.

eric tourangeau 1 week or about five washes max!! The jar says 2 weeks or ten washes but that’s a bit exaggerated

Very interesting, as the exact same wax did in fact bead like crazy in our tests (channel: XaronFR). Do you think that could be because you applied it to a non-prepared paint?

Andreas Schwarzinger the paint was fully prepped.. but not protected. Not sure... it sheets on my car as well.

Why the color of Graphene wax is not black?

Brian have you used their Nano graphene coating? I am planning on applying that and would love to hear your opinion? Also can it be placed over a ceramic coating. I have Tac Systems Quartz plus on the car currently.

Declan Flaherty it is more concentrated and should be applied in small sections.

Thought graphene doesn't need to be layered due to how the molecules are structured? Not odd that this company would say it's ok to layer?

Soft99 also makes water-based wax for ceramic coatings and it's much cheaper than this. It's called Hydro Gloss Wax

Since you are a Vette guy. What are your thoughts on the C8? I think it is a cool idea, but I am no fan of mid or rear engine cars.

How long last?

Comparing gloss and durability there doesn't seem to be much reason not to use TAC System Shinee Wax at a fraction of the cost, only application experience. The Vette is looking great btw.

Hi Brian, I think you need to adjust your ranking to make it a bit more granular, products seem to land more often than not in betwen boxes. Here is a suggestion: - Go get it now - Very impressive - Impressive - Above average - Average - Below average - Don't bother (I can bet that to most in this channel, barely effective and don't bother is the same category)

Hey Brian. I have been looking for a protective product for a while now, one that is clearly more hydrophilic (sheeting) than hydrophobic (beading). Can you recommend one that's pretty affordable compared to the one in this video? It would be nice if it was as durable as possible, but If you can't recommend one that has both qualities that's ok I would manage with one that needs reapplication on a regular basis!!

@@henryfreeman6113 Great. Is there any of those 3 that could be applied over Optimum Gloss Coat, the coating that's currently on my car? You might already know this, but that coating is not silicon dioxyde but silicon carbide.
