Easy to Make I-Beam Saw Horses
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I go in detail on how to make a very strong set of saw horses using an i-beam construction. They are durable, easy to replace the top if cut, and easy to build.

Cool, I will build a set of these for myself.
If you want to add the plywood on the side of the legs, you can make the second sawhorse a couple of inches longer on the I-beam and it should be stackable.
Great job!

Enjoy the build and thanks for watching!
I think the concept is great. However, there are a couple of modifications that could improve it. In my opinion the bottom horizontal of the "I" Beam is overkill. Instead of running the entire width of the saw horse the bottom horizontal only needs to extend 6 -8 inches (150-180mm) near each end, to support the legs. This saves cost and weight. Also I have not placed the legs right out on the ends but moved them inboard, approx. 8"(200mm) and then cut the vertical section of the I beam shorter to allow the top horizontal to extend out each end by itself. What this does is to more easily facilitate the use of a clamp if required.

Those are some good modifications to a basic design.
What is the height of your completed saw horse?
