Yeah same but now I know how to make them really well and it's because hot chocolate causes the balloons to burst you need to wait till the chocolate is cold but still liquified then do it ....

+Wong Chun Wai yey! try to temper chocolate (there are tons of Videos on how to temper chocolate), it won't ruin your balloons and also not melt at room temperature. good luck!

Beyonce Romero it's a latex balloon. It's made from latex. You can't remove the latex, because that's the entirety of what it is. Lol

I am so glad you caught that. Must be reported to CPS ASAP. Chocolate Protective Services must be advised of this sacrilege to the cacao. Heating it in such a way, ruins the tempering properties.

If I could give some extra advices spray your balloons with oil before dipping them and tap them on the side of the bowl to prevent from air bubbles

clotilde besson yeah the oil somehow compressed the air or broke down the balloon, and the one we didnt use oil on couldnt be separated from the chocolate. :/

for better results, do a couple of layers of chocolate so it wont break, also leave for more than 10 mintes in the freezer. Be sure to be in a 'cool' environment when you are popping the ballon, chocolate mealts really fast

Try making a small hole in the balloon and slowly let the air out instead of violently popping them. This will prevent a more fragile or delicate bowl from breaking.

I've done this before and the first time the bowl was a little thin so the next time I did it I dipped the balloon in the chocolate again after it was slightly frozen to make a thicker bowl.

I don't think so latex does not transfer on any surface but I an absolutely not an expert so maybe you can look it up on internet or ask a doctor?
