The theme of my t-shirt quilts would be around my families favourite NFL/CFL football teams and NHL hockey teams as they all cheer for the same teams. Love the look of your T-shirt quilt!
I have searched t-shirt quilts and this is a winner. I’m a huge sports watcher!! KC Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks being my favorite sports, and of course the Royals. I have enough t’s to make one of each.
Makes a T-shirt quilt look Classy! You brought it to a whole NEW level! Thanks!

I agree. She’s like a quilt genius.
I have 2 themes. My son was a United States Marine for eight years and is currently in college in the Northeast. He has been collecting tee-shirts from his favorite times and places in San Diego and said since quilting is my passion, when he comes home this summer, he wants me to teach him how it's done. We also have the USMC theme to work on. I am so looking forward to this!

That is so cool that your son is interested in your hobby! I’d recommend he take a peek at some videos posted by The Quilting Marine. He’s a great guy who uses quilting as PTSD therapy... and he has made some guy-friendly quilts. Right now he’s fearlessly working on a New York Beauties quilt. Not overly precise, but *very* colourful & cheerful. I admire him for taking on a non-traditional (for men) hobby. ~Diana K.

My grandson is in the Band and I have many great shirts to make his t-shirt quilt with. Love the "band" theme!
I’ve got the “Soccer Star” grandchild graduating with enough shirts for 6 quilts - I love the way you focused the shirt colors to avoid the “scrap vomit” effect🌟

Making a “running memories” out of all of the race shirts we have - both me and my husband run so we have twice as many - I have enough for about 10 quilts - lol! Thanks Angela - I was really worried about making a mess of the memories but with this pattern I’m onto a winner for sure ☺️🏆
Very cool and not scary. My son played multiple sports and has the mountains of shirts and pinnies that go with. Breaking it down to 12.5" blocks is definitely doable. You go ahead and do the ugly cry-you earned it.
My quilt would be my young grandson’s sports shirts. He lived with us for 11 years and played all sports in football while he stayed with us. He and his mother now live 8 hours away and I so miss those sweet days . . I want to put some of his shirts together to remember the years of football/ Basketball / baseball games and practices. So awesome that you have done this as I didn’t like the idea of just jumbling them all together. Also, I appreciate your helpful videos on FMQ. I really have had to work hard to work through it as I can’t draw so I tend to be very jerky with some patterns. But I’ll keep practicing. Thanks for all your help .
I love how the design makes it truly a quilt, not just t shirts sewn together. Perfect!
Now that’s the best t-shirt quilt pattern I’ve seen! My brother wants me to make him one out of his t-shirts, this pattern looks perfect. Thanks. :)
Our family has been volunteering at music festivals and Habitat for Humanity for almost 3 decades so I have a lot of t-shirts to make quilts for our family members and probably a couple to donate for the raffles. Thanks for the great pattern that will make the t-shirt quilts a bit more upscale looking.
Will be using all my Diving T shirts..........so many memories of my travels to beautiful underwater destinations .........one day I hope to be able to travel again 🐙🐡🦑🐠🐋
It’s the perfect Grandma gift for university.
I would also love to make myself a T-shirt quilt with all my music festival shirts that I have outgrown but are still in good shape to make a quilt!!
My son-in-law has been wanting me to make him a t-shirt quilt out of his favourite tees, so of course it would be called “The Favourite”. I’ve been putting him off because I didn’t know how to do it, so now I’m ready to try it! Thanks!
A co-worker asked me to make a T shirt quilt for her husband. He's a Dallas Cowboys fan and she says he has so many shirts he can't wear them all. This is a great pattern Angela. I love the flying geese blocks to offset those shirts. Thanks for the video.
I would do a “Road-trip” theme for all the college visits we did when my daughter was a rising senior.
My T-shirt quilt theme will be about music using shirts that I collected from concerts and radio stations.

I just got done doing a t shirt quilt I was wondering about how you did with the different colors
I've made this pattern of yours and it was fabulous! A friend didn't have many shirts, but they were special to her, because they were from concerts she and her sister attended. After her sister's death, she asked if I could do something with them, even a lap quilt would be OK. So, I found your pattern, and she still didn't have enough shirts! So, I embroidered sister sentiments on the perimeter blocks in monochromatic colors to the fabrics. I loved that the tshirts stood out, but the embroidered blocks were, 'quieter' and more there just for her. She was so excited with the end result! Now our oldest daughter has asked me to make one using her high school choir and colorguard shirts.
I've got enough t-shirts to do several different themes - one would be Vermont micro- and nano-breweries; another would be farming with t-shirts from feed companies, the dairy co-ops, fairs, and ag shows; a third would focus on a local institution, the East Charlotte Tractor Parade; and lastly, I believe I have enough t-shirts from when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was in HS to make one like you did, Angela. Thanks for the inspiration!!
My quilt would use my vast collection of rock concert T-shirts. When I’m finally ready to stop wearing them! 🤣
I saved my son’s t-shirts planning to make him a quilt for 6th grade graduation. Didn’t happen. So I figured 8th grade graduation. Still didn’t happen. High school? Nope. College? Still no. Master’s degree? Not even. The next milestone is his wedding in November. This might work. My theme needs to be “done”!

As a college dropout I know that the conventional track isn't always the best!
I have so many t-shirts from my dad. He loved going to the casino and has the shirts to prove it. 😂 I would like to make a t-shirt quilt for my daughter, myself, and two nieces. This pattern would be perfect. It will make it look more like a quilt. Thank you for the idea.
Years ago my daughter-in-law asked me to make her a quilt using her Virginia Tech t-shirts. I've been dragging my feet ever since but with this super pattern I'm all for it! Theme? Go Hokies!
I used this pattern for my son’s T shirt quilt. He and I both LOVE it
Both my kids are musical so I would definitely make a music or band quilt. Sports held no interest for them but as soon as you place a musical instrument in their hands, they are in heaven!
My grandson is 11 and in football right now. Who knows how many other sports/activities he could be in until he graduates from high school. Maybe there will be enough T-Shirts for me and him a quilt! Great idea for the pattern! You are amazing! Thanks for sharing!
This is just what I needed help with! I have been struggling with ideas in making a memory quilt for my future granddaughter-in-law. Her dad has passed away suddenly in September and asked me if I could take his t-shirts and make a quilt for her. Of course I could not say no, but I have never made one before...Yikes! But thanks to you and your creative tutorials, I am so excited! Thank you!! Stay Happy and Crafty. 😊🧵🪡
I am going to make a memory t-shirt quilt from my brothers stash of country band and travel shirts. He used to be a bus driver for different bands/ country music singers. He died a few years ago and I saved all his collection of t-shirts. I think they would be great gifts for my other siblings.
I am making one for my daughter. It is mostly high school and church. She left me with so many shirts all I had room for was a small boarder between the shirts. She loves yellow and sunflowers so I am doing the boarders in yellow and quilting sunflowers in it! A lot of work but it is looking great! Also my husband was so nice! He bought me a press. It saves so much time!
I have a TShirt quilt for my daughter I made 12 years ago and NEVER quilted...I'm going to take it apart and start over now that I've seen this very informative video I'll make it work..Love it Thanks Angela
My quilt would be for my husband and it would be using National Park T shirts from all our travels! Great job Angela
My daughter took dance for 13 years....I have all of her T-shirts - hoping to start working on it this year as a Christmas gift
Waiting for my grandson to graduate so I can get his t-shirts to make his quilt. Will have to be a long one since he's a sophomore and is already 6'5". His will be a collage style t-shirt quilt. Your son's quilt turned out great.
Rolling Stones ! I have the shirts and I love your pattern. Your pattern creates a quilt with a design instead of looking like organized laundry!
My tee shirt quilt will be about Boy Scout camp. Each year my grandson has received camp tee shirts. No one enjoyed camp like my grandson and now he is a BS camp counselor. Love your Chanel.
I have been wanting to do a basketball themed t-shirt quilt for my Goddaughter who played on her university team. Thanks for a great tutorial.
I saved both my boys 4h shooting sports t-shirts. They would be great with this patterns. Haha they have only been out 9 and 10 years. But I bet they would still love it, would bring back great memories!
My theme is years of school sports. Two left in high school to graduate, man it goes fast. Love your T-shirt quilt 😊
My husband and I have a Harley Davidson shirt from all of the dealerships that we have visited - and we 've outgrown some of them so...trying this quilt!!!
Mine would be a supportive memory quilt from all the T-shirts I have acquired from our two daughters’ activities including But not limited to cheerleading, Dance, gymnastics, softball, theater, after prom, Nursing program, sorority, etc. where mom and dad supported our girls by buying tshirts!! :) I love the idea of the design that you’ve Created. I can’t wait to use it
My son asked me to do a t-shirt quilt using his disc golf t-shirts for his birthday this year. Should be fun!
I have lots and lots of upcycled t-shirts from national parks that have worn out over the years. I'd love to combine them like this and put a national park panel pieced back with it. Thanks for all you do!
Yes!!! Just in time for me to make the promised quilts for my niece and nephew!!! Volleyball and golf. Just cut the first one out!!!!
I am a huge Connecticut Huskies Women's basketball fan and have been collecting tee shirts for a lot of years. I now live in Tennessee and since Connecticut is verboten here, I don't dare wear any of my shirts. I love your idea of a secondary block for the tee shirt quilt. It would be a great way to enjoy my memories of my team winning all of their 11 national championships without upsetting my neighbors
OMG! A friend of mine gave me a small bag of t-shirts to make her a quilt. I have been too chicken to cut the shirts. But after watching this video I am feeling excited to get started on it!
I have several swim team and assorted other shirts from my second child. That will be my next t-shirt quilt. I have always done a very eclectic process with t-shirt quilts, but I really like yours with the setting blocks. Thanks for the inspiration. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to win your kit!
The flying geese blocks are the best and your right about the tshirt quilt looks a lot classie. I love the look and will do one for my bro with shirts 20 years old 😂😂❤
I would be making a quilt for my neighbor's autistic son; it would represent his guitar playing (Johnny Cash), places he has visited, his high school, his love of animals (dolphins) and how he enjoys working with his dad gardening (John Deere). I have put off making it, it would be my first one, but after seeing your design layout, it has moved up on my "quilts to make" list:) Now it won't look like every other t-shirt quilt pattern I have seen. Thanks Angela!
I can't wait to use this pattern to turn all my husbands Tough Mudder T-shirts into something more useful! I mean, there are only 7 days in the week and he has 20 shirts that are just sitting in the drawers, but I couldn't find a pattern I liked. This one is PERFECT.
My oh my! YOU keep Drakes quilt! What a great idea! I think I’ll make one with the Shawnee Sharks swim team! But wait, my granddaughter’s aren’t old enough yet to have that many ... hmmm. Oh well I’ll wait! Thanks Angela! Your precious:)
I made a concert T shirt for my youngest son, wish I had seen this pattern before but now I need to make a T shirt quilt for my oldest using his "music theater" shirts. Ill be using this pattern for sure.
Opera tshirts for my stage manager daughter I love your quilt. It is not boring squares. There is a pattern. Great!
I have saved all of my oldest son's Muscular Dystrophy camp t-shirts since he was 6 years old. I have been wanting to make a quilt with them, but just haven't been brave enough to start it. I definitely need this kit!
My quilt would also be a senior gift! My daughter is graduating this year too and I am also going to be crying pools of tears 😭 What an adventure it has been

Right!?!? It doesn't even seem possible
Ok, this pattern blew me away. I’ve made all my t-shirt quilts the old fashioned way, but no longer will that happen. So excited to try this pattern with my daughters “The Ohio State” t-shirts. I may just have to make a backing just like the front since she has so many t-shirts. I’m so excited. Thanks for the awesome idea. Melanie
We have been band parents through two kids' time in middle and high school. Your main color was purple, ours is black and gold. I would love to make this with our t-shirts! Thank you for the tutorial!
Looks so beautiful!! You make it look so easy! My daughter wants one made from her own t-shirts. You've inspired me!
Love the setting on the Tee shirt quilt. My daughter is 28 years old and keeps asking me when I'm going to make her tee shirt quilt! She played soccer in elementary school and field hockey in high school. So, that's my theme. I'm motivated!!
My son wants a quilt and I think this would be a great idea! His quilt will have a variety of T shirts.
So a young Co-Worker has been diagnosed with LAM...our team purchased LAM Tees for a fund raising event. I am constructionist a Tee Shirt Quilt for Megan using this great pattern. It will be in shades of pink and grey. Thanks for a great pattern
I plan to use my t-shirts I've gotten from rock concerts. Great tutorial. Thank you.
My t shirt theme would be poker or casino. My boyfriend loves playing in poker tournaments, and I think the theme for a quilt would be a wonderful birthday gift.
My quilt, or quilts, really would be memory quilts out of my husband and my race and nerdy and Comic-Con and family trip T-shirts. Something they can grow up cuddling and then, when they’re older, can see us in and remember how much we love spending time together.
Great idea for father's days. Thanks for tutorial.
Mine will be running related Tshirts! From my long running career! So many memories!
Now I am going to do that computer t shirt. I've been looking at them for years. Thanks
My daughter barrel races. She has been adding her association T-shirts to a tote as she out grows them. I love how you transformed a t-shirt quilt into something more appealing!! I need to see if we have enough to get started.
My theme for a quilt would be my son’s t-shirts from when he was a child all the way to teen years. I probably have enough t-shirts for 3 quilts 😀. I like your idea of adding the blocks. I’ve seen quite a bit of others and never could choose. Thanks for a new spin/idea. ❤️🙏🏽😷👍🏽
Angela, I'm right there with you. My last 2 graduate this year! 2 prom dresses, 2 sets of senior pictures, 2 vehicles for collage and just like that the nest will be empty. I'm sharing that ugly cry with you girl!
Hi! My theme will be drumline and marching... my son was on drumline all 4 years. He played bass drum... even hit highest percussion award his junior year. Love love love your listen!!!! So colors are red, black white... so your fabrics would look amazing!!!! Senior year ended during covid... felt so bad for him. He missed out on a lot of good memories.
I made a t- shirt quilt for a friend's son. He is a high school graduate. I used the Attic Window pattern. I think a little like you. I want the quilts that I make a little different. So I thought well a window you look out and see the past accomplishments that he has done in high school. I will try to send you a picture on your blog if possible. Thanks for your tutorials. You give me inspiration.

I’ve worked for the YMCA for over 20 years. My CEO will be retiring in a few years. She’s worked her way up the ranks for over 20 years, too. Thank you for your design idea and making the instructions so easy to follow.

I just finished the second of 2 memory quilts for a dear friend that lost her Dad too soon I really could have used this video before I started. But now it will help me for future T shirt quilts if I find I just can't say "no" next time. Excellent ideas and tips for interesting designs.

My tshirt quilt will be about gaming/video games for my son and daughter in law. I love your pattern!!
I would theme my quilt with wildlife and scenery. Great design!
My husband has been shooting competition clay targets (skeet, trap, sporting clays) for 40 years. As you can imagine, he's got an extensive collection of t-shirts from all the various tournaments. This quilt would be a perfect way to 1. keep the memories from his most successful shoots and 2. thin out his t-shirt drawer to make room for more.
I have made 2 t shirt quilts. Promised myself that I wouldn't make anymore. But after watching your video, I may reconsider!
I have two piles of my husband's t-shirts waiting to be made into quilts - T's from West Point years and 80s concert T's. These have been on my project list for 25 years. Angela's pattern is the first one that appeals!!

Barb Pudelski ; I love the idea ! I hope I can make the triangles so it doesn’t look like a t- shirt quilt. I am making it for my granddaughter. I want to make it more feminine. You are fabulous! Very different. How did you do that fancy quilting?
My quilt will be a band geek quilt or a drama quilt. The kids aren’t athletic so went for the fine arts. Love how the design works so well with the shirts.
