Easy Stuffed Shells | Freezer Meal

Here is my promised recipe for my stuffed shells. These shells are anything but boring and packed full of flavor. The perfect comfort food for any night of the week. Plus they are a kid favorite too! Enjoy!
Stuffed Shells:
1 box jumbo shells
1/2 lb sweet italian sausage
1/2 lb lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic
1 15 oz container ricotta cheese
1 tsp italian seasoning
3/4 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh flat leaf parsley
1 egg
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 24 oz jars marinara sauce
1 cup (approx) shredded mozzarella for top
fresh parsley for garnish
Assemble, bake at 350 for 30 minutes covered, then 15-20 uncovered and finish under the broiler for 3-4 minutes.

    I can just hear all the love in your voice when you reminisce about your grandmother making this dish...that's part of the comfort in this comfort food, right? One day, your little ones will remember how mama used to make the best stuffed shells! I was surprised when you added a little sauce to the filling! I had never tried that.     Good Morning Jenn-just wanted to say * THANK-YOU * I’ve enjoyed your channel for sometime now-yesterday had the time to make your *Stuffed Shells* and they were absolutely delicious they were a big hit with myself & my wife I enjoy treating her to some Special Dishes she rated them a *10* I got three dozen from one box so I had enough to share with the ladies next door and they LOVED them also-I’m planning on making your oatmeal peanut butter breakfast treat with a bit of a new wrinkle switching out the peanut butter with peanuts and raisins Hmmmm-!!!! 👍👍 again Thank You for all that you do in sharing your recipes and being a GREAT TEACHER-!!! in doing it It would be nice if you could get your sweet grandmother to share her Blueberry Jam recipe.
