If anyone struggles to use Magearna or doesn’t have one, I was able to do so very easily with Clodsire. It had the water absorb ability, maxed out stats in attack and special defense, poison Tera type, and holding a shell bell. Its moves set consisted of poison jab, curse, mud slap, and yawn. Use the move poison jab the first few rounds until the shield is up then Terastalize and use the move Curse at least 3 times then spam poison jab again. Works because primarina will keep using sound based moves which become water type and heal your Clodsire. Also causes sing to not put you to sleep and encore won’t work. On the chance she uses psychic on you, the shell bell will save you

@@keh9489 Not one I can think of, but there is another way for it to learn curse without a TM or breeding. Have Clodsire forget a move so it has one empty move space and have it hold a mirror herb. Have another Pokémon that only knows curse. The Gengar evolution line is a good option and don’t need the dlc to get this Pokémon. Delibird Presents store in Cascarrafa sells mirror herbs if you don’t have one. Have just Clodsire and Gengar in your party then have a picnic. Wait a few minutes then pack up and Clodsire will have picked up curse. Then make sure to replace the mirror herb it is holding with the shell bell before starting the raid

This really worked well for me! Gholdengo didn’t cut it. And didn’t have to drag magearna over haha

An easy solo is Lapras with water absorb and steel tera. Full attack, 1/3 in HP, 2/3 spdef. Iron head till tera. Then 6 dragon dance. Then back to iron head for win. Good duo is solgaleo and alcremie. Alcremie ability sweet veil, with light screen holding light clay, and use decorate on solgaleo, use recover on alcremie when needed.

Yeah I was about to say, Magearna is pretty cool for Raids but Gholdengo is already immune to Encore and Sing and can absolutely rip through that HP. Also if you Nasty Plot x2, Metal Sound once and then Make it Rain before the shield goes up, it *should* chunk Primarina's HP massively so you have much less shield to grind through.

​@@person358, Clodsire seems to be a fairly accessible option...just be wary of Psychic, of course (but Water Absorb should balance that out, as does Tera Steel). You can even Mud Slap after Primarina clears its stats before Cursing up (after it clears your party, that is) and mopping up with Poison Jab...you don't even need the DLC to get Curse on it (as Curse is an egg move, this means either normal breeding or Mirror Herb shenanigans work perfectly).

Steel terra vaporeon and steel tera Gastrodon are very good to. In case you dont see it gastrodon has storm drain and that means sing boost your special attack, and vaporeon has water absorb so it will gain hp off of sing.

Gholdengo does amazingly well and can never be put to sleep except for the turn it nullifies your ability

I found Misty Terrain to be useful to prevent Sing

I used Gholdengo. Good as Gold prevents Sing. Nasty Plot, Flash Cannon, Metal Sound and Light Screen were the moves I used.

I've tried this strat 20 times and I keep getting screwed by all the Sings. Can't get it past 1/4 hp

Beat mine on the first try and got FOUR Herba Mystica... though barely. That thing's Moonblast is insane! I know it’s getting a Tera Type boost, but the damage is still insane. And it's Sparkling Aria does a ton too

Most of the time, these raids are tough to finagle the first time they've been released (as people end up learning the movesets and extra moves the day it's released and most of them have counter moves), but some are a lot more subtle in their counters. For this, you're looking for something that can take Moonblast and Psychic (whether resisted or Specially defensive with recovery) while also watching out for the Water attacks...this means mostly Steel types (or a Steel Tera type) with some form of Water immunity (Storm Drain/Water Absorb). Lapras (Water Absorb, high Sp. Def), Gastrodon (Storm Drain, high Sp. Def, Mud Slap), Vaporeon (Water Absorb, high Sp. Def, Calm Mind), and even Clodsire (Water Absorb, high Sp. Def, Mud Slap, Curse...just be extremely careful of Psychic) are good options.

Tried Tinkaton but despite 3 shot the huge shield got me hopes, i got asleep till death since after 3 heal chants i couldn't wake up anymore. Then, i went for the support route and went online with Alcremie, made it easy AF for everyone else. Why? _ Hidden ability "Sweet Veil" to prevent the entire team from sleep (because F*** YOU, Prismarina!) _ move to boost ally SP Def _ insane SP def and very high HP stats _ Light Screen + guard chant will completely counter all her moves Let the rest do damage since you alone will carry them with high sp def and guard from sleep.

Use Metronome as item for more cumulative damage output. Little bit riskier though with no other healing options than the cheer.

Used calm mind misty terrain light screen and flash cannon. I don't want to deal with the BS of sing so there is the misty terrain for.

Intresting strat I'm gunna do this

I used a steel tera Vaporen with metronome and Water Absorb. Mud slap x3 or 4, tera + tera blast. Once it clears stats, calm mind x6 and then tera blast to win. By the end, Psychic did 7 damage =)

I was going to use Magnezone but Magearna is a personal favorite so I won't complain.

Guys… if it’s a pokemon with high special attack and special defense with lower other stats, use snorlax. It compliments so well. Gluttony and recycle with a figgy berry and belly drum… it’s invincible

Arceus is the best Pokémon vs Primarina. 252 SpA & 252 SpD with Iron Plate and Teratype Steel. Acid Spray, Calm Mind, Steel Beam & Misty or Electryc Terrain. With Bellibol as a partner and avoid of Arboliva. 1st Turn Misty Terrain 2nd to 4th Turns you have to throw 3 acid Spray. After this, You must to waith and do nothing then Primarina going to clean its stadistics itselve. Once it happens, we have to continuos throwing Acid spray to do Primarina has -6 SpD. Then we have to die. Once we return, put again Misty Terrain (Terastallize with) and put ourselves +5 or +6 Calm Mind (How the damage is variable some times +5 is enough but to make sure, put in +6) take care of the Misty Terrain (when it disappears put it again). Then we have to execute Steel Beam to make K.O to Primaryna.

I did this with arceus stellar tera type, acid spray and judgement does a lot of work 🤣🤣

Didn't know we had a new raid, don't have magerna, but I think scizor or kings gambit might work ill do some looking and testing, kings gambit did it, won't be consistent, and you need snarl, after Tera with a snarl your kinda chillin

Also water absorb is helpful. It spammed sing 10 turns in a row with the occasional moon blast but water absorb nullifies sing and fills your hp

Two ways. First is the QR code used in Sun/Moon & US/UM Second is to have one of every single pokemon deposited in HOME. Neither one is immediately easy to acquire without the right games
