Im someone who mainly saves shiny hunting as a post game activity, there have been many times where pokemon refuse to auto battle. A lot of it has to do with certain slopes in the game that don’t necessarily allow the Let’s go feature to function properly, or positioning of your pokemon and wild pokemon, making wild pokemon at some very very specific angles nearly invisible or unreachable to the let’s go AI. The AI should only react this way when sending your pokemon out to a pokemon that is in the air, or towards shiny pokemon, which I have confirmed myself works. I still do not trust the AI, and I was only able to confirm because cubchoo is such a lackluster shiny, I wouldnt have cared if it did get knocked out

They are very capable of it, but like a lot of things, they A. Don’t have the time or B. Are lazy. I’m not sure which it is, but they were able to scale Nemona’s team so they are able to scale the leaders, problem is that means 8 different teams with different levels and move sets and mons and it’s not the type of thing they tend to do.

I was just playing through and thought that I should mention something: You should do the academy classes and talk to the teachers as you collect your gym badges! The classes actually tell you useful information about the game like where to change your pokemons Teratype and if you talk to the teachers enough they will give you 50 Terashards of the type that they like! Hassel gives you 50 Dragon Terashards. It substantially cuts down on grinding for those

Sure, beating the game and getting your team-building tools ASAP is neat, but it is really obvious when I play against someone who just pulled a team from someone else or slotted in 'the best pokemon' from a Google search without knowing its interactions. KZread suggested this video to me and I ended up finding it quite useful and entertaining. You've earned yourself a subscriber here! Now, I haven't "finished" Scarlet, as I haven't had that much time to play the game. I have been taking in all three routes at the same time, going around the map and doing whatever's close-by. I managed to beat Team Star bosses by combining my Tallonflame's insane speed with super effective moves by another 2 or 3 pokemon, while having the rest of the party there just to revive the super effective mons. It was very challenging, especially because I ended up being 20 levels below one of the bosses, but I still manage to do it. I stopped progressing through the story as soon as I've earned all the badges (from all 3 routes), as I realized I was nowhere near as strong as I should be, going forward. I've been exploring, levelling up, grinding, improving my team, and it's been an amazing experience, just like you describe in this here video! I guess they've integrated enough aspects from Legends Arceus to make this gen amazing, despite the bugs and frame rate issues. Anyway, just sharing my experience so far. Great video and I'll stick around, waiting for more content! ;)

The auto heal feature is also super nice. Basic potions are the most cost effective healing but do it in small doses, you can however afford a larger more effective healing pool for kinda cheap between battles. I dumped money on around 200 and could just autoheal whenever out of combat. Was a lovely quality of life improvement. Might even be a better option if fresh water etc. count for autoheal but I didn't look into it further since the potions did the job

For anyone coming down to the comments I have a little tidbit of information for you. There is a secret that the game does not openly tell you, and that secret is: Bellibolt. Bellibolt is such a powerful Pokemon under the right conditions, speaking from experience Bellibolt can beat the last titan fairly easily at around lvl 35, for refence that titan is around lvl 55. Bellibolts ability electromorphis doubles the power of electric type moves if it has been hit that same turn, that coupled with its high defense makes it quite easy for Bellibolt to one shot things, even if they are 5-15 lvls higher. So play the game better, play the game fatter, play the game with two fake eyes, use Bellibolt.

@@fortnitesexman First of all I've played the game and the occasional stutter doesn't really phase me in a Pokemon game. Secondly, the designs have been garbage since gen 2 at least until you get used to them. Not having level scaling is a good thing. That means you can actually have difficult content if you want to. What makes it better than other games is the freedom to go wherever you please, the ridiculous amount of mons you can catch before really even starting the story progression and the options to improve your team that you have without having to make it to the post game. The vistas are amazing texture quality not withstanding. What I still miss is new game +, difficulty settings and even more freedom and control with ivs and evs. Terrastalization is an amazing gimmick.

Tip 11: This goes for any Pokemon game, but it's especially the case here since grinding levels is so much easier - switch out your pokemon as gym battles/star bases need. Don't try to power through with the team you've had since the beginning. So many people I've seen struggle with certain gym battles (cough* Larry *cough) because they don't have something good against that team. If you take a second to train up a new pokemon that would be good against the next type battle you're looking at, it will pay off very well.

As far as picking up every item, I'd reccomend finding a pokemon that can keep up with your mount (pre-sprinting) and sending them into Lets Go Mode, then just running around, avoiding battles as you go. Its easier than spamming the A button and having to heel-turn every time you barely miss an item, and quite a few evolved pokemom are fast enough to follow. (As an easy example, Cyclizar keeps up with your mount and is available in both games by lvl 20. Mine was a game-changer for berry grinding)
