Easy Sock Knitting Tutorials - Part 4 Short Row Heel

I am currently knitting with some very fine dark colored yarn and thin needles. This video saved me. Wrap and turn was impossible. Thank you so much

I have not started this yet, but I’ve been working on short road heels for two years and have gotten no further than well. I haven’t gotten anywhere I’ve never seen this tutorial before, but it seems so much easier than that rap and turn in make two double stitch make a double stitch and I get all fumbled up and how come no one thought of this before it seems easy. I haven’t done it yet, but I’ll let you know. Thank you for your tutorial.

Thank you so much. This is so much easier than that double stitch thing that I’ve been learning from MarlyBird which is fine, but this looks so much easier. I don’t know how I happened upon your video but thank you thank you thank you.

I recently tried knitting socks. I have yet to complete a pair as I have watched several wrap and turn videos, as well as M1L videos. This is by far the best for a newbie to socks. Easy to follow, great demo and tips. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. I always do the same heel not knowing any other, and you make it look so simple. But I have a question my socks are always 64 stitches total 32 on each needles I use the double pointed flexi so how would I divide the stitches having the 2 extra?

Divide into 3rds. 11/10/11 hope that helps

why was the first stitch slipped knitwise on the first knit side and the rest of knit stitches slipped purlwise?

It makes the seam look neater and match the look of the other side better. 😊
