RED RUM FIZZ
2 oz/60 ml White Rum
2 oz/60 ml Orange Juice
3 oz/90 ml Soda Water
.25 oz/7.5 ml Grenadine ***
Method
1. Add first three ingredients to a highball glass over fresh.
2. Stir gently.
3. Drizzle the Grenadine over the top slowly.
4. Garnish with a half Orange wheel.
LIME & SODA
2 oz/60 ml White Rum
2 oz/60 ml Lime Juice
4 oz/120 ml Soda Water
1. Add ingredients to a highball glass over ice.
2. Stir gently.
3. Garnish with a Lime Wheel.
RUM SMASH
3 Lemon Wedges
2 oz/60 ml White Rum
1 oz/30 ml Elderflower Liqueur
2 oz/60 ml Tonic Water
1. Add lemon wedges to the shaker tin.
2. Muddle Gently.
3. Add the next to ingredients to the Shaker tin.
4. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
5. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.
6. Top with Tonic Water.
7. Garnish with a half Lemon Wheel.
ADIOS MOTHERF***ER
.75 oz/22.5 ml Lemon Juice
.75 oz/22.5 ml Simple Syrup
.5 oz/15 ml Dry Gin
.5 oz/15 ml Vodka
.5 oz/15 ml White Rum
.5 oz/15 ml Tequila
5 oz/15 ml Blue Curacao
Method
1. Add all ingredients to the Shaker Tin.
2. Shake with Ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Pour into a highball glass filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a Lemon Wheel and a Maraschino Cherry.
*** Home Made Grenadine
4 oz/120 g Sugar
4 oz/120 ml Pomegranate Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Orange Liqueur
Method.
1. Add Sugar and Pomegranate juice to a sauce pan.
2. Warm gently and stir until the sugar is absorbed.
3. Add Orange liqueur.
4. Let simmer for 2 min.
5. Decant into a container and allow to cool before use.

AMF was my favorite drink at TGI Fridays before we walked over to the mail to watch a movie. Now, 5 or so years later, the mall is closed, the theater is gone and the Fridays is gone. Things will never be the same, but I can make my own AMF and watch youtube at home

I'd love that Rum Smash for sure. Any rum drinks I actually really enjoy. Love how you did a few at once, it's always nice to have one spot to see what to make with a particular ingredient when you're in a pinch.

I love Cachaca So I would either add Cachaca or sum the Rum with Cachaca in a AMF or a Long Island Ice Tea/Sunrise/One Night Stand.

Tim, Let me know what you think of these. The Lime & Soda and the Rum Smash are a little more tart. The Red Rums Smash has some sweetness to it and the Adios Motherf***er (AMF) is well an AMF but Fancy.

As for Red Wine I have not really done much in the way of cocktails with that except for a New York Sour. I would love to see your recipe. And a poll would be a good idea.

@@boozeontherocks I've looked online and didn't find it. In Brazil I say "Tinto de verão" but let's call it "Red summer". This one is very simple and awesome. In a highball glass filled with ice, 1/3 the cup with red wine, 2/3 the cup with sprite, for garnish use half a lime wheel inside the glass. The other one is "Sangria" the best variation, I'll send to you via e-mail this one.
I'm definitely going to try the lime and soda! We have a bottle of white rum we bought for a barbecue but we never ended up making the mango daiquiris we bought it for. There’s not much left after my dad having some neat and me making honey lemon hot toddies when I had the flu, but I really wanted to make a proper rum cocktail with it before running out! I don’t have a lot of cocktail ingredients, so a recipe I can get from the grocery store is perfect :) Also, I have a question that's not quite relevant to the video, but the lime & soda reminded me of this. When people talk about rum and coke, rum and ginger ale, rum and root beer or rum and dr. pepper, what rum do they call for? Any? I've always assumed they meant dark rum, but I've never actually thought about it.

Definitely go for the Lime & Soda it nicely tart. Now on the other subject, generally you can use what ever rum you want, however I would use a Spiced Rum because the flavor would all work well together. BUT a Rum & Coke (White Rum), Rum & Ginger Ale (Spiced), Rum & Dr. Pepper(Spiced), Rum & Root Beer( Spiced Rum). but taste is subjective, If you really like a dark rum try that. its up to you.
Rum drinks are always crowd pleasers
