Hi again David, I have made this just now as a late evening drink, exactly as your recipe which I re-watched this afternoon. But I used Aluna not Malibu. It was colourfully impressive when freshly made, but with plenty of ice it was a job to get it all combined. Lovely multi fruity flavours with the hint of spice from the ginger. Nick from York

@@boozeontherocks It's amazing. I was introduced to it by my sister ( we met when we were teenagers, and have been best friends ever since ). She had me take a shot of it, and it was so smooth. So anytime a recipe calls for coconut rum, I use The Don.

Try this one Banana rum Apple sourz Pineapple juice / tropical juice Appletiser I come up with this not bad at all lol

Depends on how sweet you want it lol you could try the samw ratio as the electric smuf . Or . Maybe and more sourz than banana rum I have tried both and taste good . Also tried it with both pineapple and tropical juice . Tropical for me . But haven't come up with a name for this cocktail yet lol Appletiser 8s a little sweet so depends how sweet you really want it or not

What a great episode! I can really see the connection between you guys. However, to make this drink I'll have to figure out what to replace the Malibu with. Why? Because I refuse to use spiced rum in anything. That's just my way of being a purist at heart (and everyone's pain in the butt...).

Coconut milk and ginger beer don't mix well... just say no. It semed like the coconut milk separated or something and there was a strange not-at-all-inviting foam on top... but the taste was ok 😀 I actually used Flor de Cara 4 years.

We will have to see what we can do. I find mine at the local bulk food store. also a bakery could possibly supply some to you.

does anybody know i good option for Malibu? I know its a mixture of Rum and Coconut Liquor. But I am searching a coconut flavoured rum right now, just for trying out a bit.

I just noticed you used 45ml of coconut rum in the video but the description says 60ml. I guess you could go according to your preference. Anyway, you guys make a great tandem. Great video as always.

@@boozeontherocks Gosh even too much foam drives me up the wall. After 5 beers, well all the foam added up will equal a beer! I tell bartenders who don't know me that I'm allergic to foam and that usually conveys the message.
