    I love your teaching style, and the camera shots were perfect for illustrating each step. You've got just the right amount of talkiness, and the instructions are very clear. I appreciate your relaxed vibe. :) I added a bunch of videos on this topic to my playlist, and right before this, I watched one w/ a guy who obviously likes the sound of his own voice, and it grated on my ears--it was like a wall of sound, as if he were getting paid for avoiding the auditory white spaces. Thanks for the tutorial! You inspire confidence, and am newly subbed. :)

    @@TightWadDIY Lucky students! 👏 Thanks for sharing your gifts to spread knowledge-I believe teaching to be one of the highest callings in life (not limited to institutional learning). 🙏✨💕 In so many instances, it’s not the subject people dislike, it’s the teaching style. With the right person explaining the topic, potentially ANY subject could be interesting. And being on KZread, you’re not limited to how many students the fire marshal deems safe to cram into a classroom. I’m 46, and didn’t think it was fair or reasonable for my quality of education to be affected solely by how many students could fit into a physical space. Schools hire so many incompetent faculty, and word always got around which instructors were good. If we didn’t have priority registration, we had the lazy dummy (who never should’ve been hired) as our remaining option, and there were semesters where I didn’t have even ONE ☝️ decent instructor. I never attended great schools, at any level, but that shouldn’t matter. If the student is curious and competent to learn, then meet them where they are. I consider the pre-Internet era the Dark Ages. KZread confirms for me that I’ve always had GREAT taste in teachers, and being a lifelong learner is such a delight now. Such a smorgasbord of options available for mental consumption! ✨🧠 ✨ Only problem is, there aren’t enough hours in the day to take it all in! 😮 Thanks again for the videos. Look forward to checking out the others. 👍

    If you wrap some paper towel around the connections and then check it incrementally every few first uses for dampness it will let you know if you have a very small leak, sometimes with changing everything you get a little water and hard to tell if it is a leak, or just from swapping connectors.

    There is a small hole on the bottom of the handle. There is a hex (Allen) screw in there. Tighten that to get it tight again. Mine did the same thing.

    @@TightWadDIY Thanks, I looked closely and is similar, my model is 7185C and doesn't have the bottom hole for the screw. Guess I have to keep researching.

    Thank you I'm a single mom looking to upgrade. Now I know how thanks to you. Do you have any advice...I was hanging a valence above the window at my kitchen sink well 🤔 I happened to put a foot in my kitchen sink and bam I felt it move downward my 125lb made my sink remove from the granite countertop as the sink sits under the counter so I took a big piece of wood and went under the sink wedged it under sink & Floor of the cabinet. It's been holding for 1 year now but I always think any day it's going to fall all the way threw. There is only a tiny gap between the sink & countertop so it's not noticeable but I know. Help please.

    I assume it’s held up with something like liquid nails or silicone and some type of brackets. I’m not positive though.

    @TightWadDIY it Def is some kind of liquid nail stuff because I seen it gewwy looking. I wouldn't think liquid nail would support such weight. I'll get around to going to the hardware store to ask. (When it completely falls onto the bottom of my cabinet 😄) 😊 Thanks!!

    Question for you… i am attempting to replace the single handle on my kitchen faucet. The first step is to remove the plug covering the hex nut underneath. I cannot seem to remove it. The reason it is being replaced is that there appears to be a calcium build up that made the finish come off the handle. So, guessing that build up is holding the plug in place… tried scraping it off, even poured some vinegar around it, it’s still firmly in there. Any suggestions for me? I appreciate your help and time.

    I'm abit confused; if I connect the hot and cold water line to thier proper pipes; how does the 3rd line work? I see you connected it but to what and to where?

    By third line are you referring to the flex hose?

  • @TightWadDIY

    @TightWadDIY

    Basically there is a valve inside the fixture that mixes the water from the hot and cold line then sends it out of the third copper line that connects to the hose.
