Don't forget, teaching in Australia is a unionised, protectionist racket for permanent staff. The others (on contracts) are left transient and vulnerable. It is not an easy task getting a job. That is why there are thousands of unemployed teachers in Australia.

From the little research I've done, it depends on your English ability, age, and work experience. English ability carries a lot of weight. If you can speak English fluently, not old, and and have at least some experience it feels like they'd let you in eventually.

Yes you can still get your skills assessment done and enter Australia with TSS Visa 482 but just know that getting your permanent residence will be a challenge.

Can you use your ENGLISH AS A MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION letter in place of EILTS?

If you are coming in as a student then most institutions will accept that, but with skills assessment in most cases they will still insist you go and sit for the IELTS

I believe if you didn't study your degree in the US you need to take the IELTS. For teachers isn't a tall bar but if you're serious you'll study n get it.

They are both good. It all depends on the one u want. The 190 is region or state based while the 189 is not limited to a region or a province it’s federal , hence u can live anywhere

Get your IELTS and your skills assessment then find an employer to sponsor you under visa subclass 482. It won't be easy but it's worth trying
