Easy Pork Belly and Brown Butter - Carnivore at 60
Who needs bbq sauce and sugar to make pork belly bites taste even better when there’s butter?
Brown butter lends an unctuous element to already amazing crispy pork belly bites and fits the carnivore way of eating perfectly.
The recipe is easy and makes a great side or main meal. Follow the video for instructions.
For brown butter, the best video I have found is at The Carnivore Doctor. Here is the link...

Can you say "Triple " bypass...looks delicious.
What if you cut the pieces smaller to begin with and cook them for the same amount of time? Usually smaller pieces would take shorter times, but we want the crispy bits. Does that maybe skip the extra fry at the end?

Yummy! I'm not carnivore, but I'm keto and this is a nice change to using the available sugar-free barbecue sauces. Whenever you're cooking something and you plan on using the pan drippings you should use parchment paper or use a glass pan because they're easy to clean with just a brief soak because aluminum foil isn't made to be used in Direct contact with food. It releases aluminum into your food which is bad for your health in many ways.

@@thecarnivorecurmudgeon was looking for pork belly recipes because my local grocery store has a sale starting tomorrow for 5.89 a pound so I'll have to stock the freezer up. They slice it a fairly thin, just a little thicker than thick bacon so I'm sure it's going to come out nice and crispy. As I said sugar-free BBQ sauce is getting old and all of the Asian sauces have so many carbs in them and bad oils. So brown butter sounds like a great idea. But I'm going to up in a notch because whenever I make brown butter I like to pour it over some thinly sliced garlic as it comes out of the pan. It smells great and it cools the butter off enough that it stops the cooking perfectly. I'll let you know how it comes out! Have a great weekend.
