The only thing I have ever done is install a tablet every few days. If it starts turning green, I shock it with a few gallons of Clorox. Haven’t used a test strip in 4 years. My water is clear as a bell.

I'm new at this. Do you have steps that I can follow? I got the info about the pump how many hours, testing about 3 times a week, shock in the evening, clean when needed. Is there anything else?

This was super helpful! We just setup a used pool we bought which was pretty dirty. Nice to know how to clean it prior to using.

Sooo I have to really commend you on this lesson and video !!! New pool owner here however I did put my pool up but had a issue after three months of being a chemist and a pool girl I ended up just draining it and starting over so I started over two days ago got back on KZread and found YOU !!! I also use well water that is not harsh and I said self let’s try this and boom wonderful outcome thank you so so much for taking out time for people like me !! My pool is ready !!! 😊😊
