Recipe:
Ingredients:
200g paneer, cubed
2 onions, chopped
3 tomatoes, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp kasuri methi
2 tbsp butter
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the cubed paneer and sauté until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter and cumin seeds. Once the seeds start to splutter, add chopped onions and green chilli. Sauté until the onions turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and cook until the tomatoes turn mushy.
Let the mixture cool and then blend it in a mixer or blender until it forms a smooth paste.
In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp butter and the tomato paste. Cook on medium heat until the mixture thickens.
Add kasuri methi, garam masala powder, and fresh cream. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
Add the sautéed paneer to the gravy and mix gently. Cook for a few more minutes until the paneer is heated through and the gravy has reached the desired consistency.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
