Had to join in as I am in my 77th year and ideas I have -- but I want Mary's energy. I just love watching how she handles large piece, power tools, rocks -- you get the idea -- and all the while I have such a calming sense in the watching. Nothing better!

You do outdoor spaces like no other Mary! I look forward to spring each year just to see you open your porch and deck and you never dissapoint! You are one talented lady and not a lazy bone in your body!

I usually work on Wednesdays, but was home today. I always tune in later in the afternoon on Wednesdays, but thought I would turn KZread on while I ate breakfast. Yes you have inspired me to fix up an outdoor space even though i am not what you call an outdoor person! We're moving soon to a new house that has two decks and a huge yard and i am actually looking forward to spending time outside in a cozy space listening to the sounds of nature, as you described. I am thinking of the decks differently since watching your wonderful videos with so many creative ideas. It will be fun to do things with my crafts and take them outdoors to decorate!

Really like what you did this year. Sometimes just changing up the old stuff into new configurations makes it seem new again. I switched up the furniture we always had on the deck and the furniture I always had on the patio around and liked how it turned out. My feral friendly kitties were cautious when they first saw it, but they have moved back like nothing has changed, haha!! My husband kids me and says they have to realize these spaces are for us, too! Gonna have our first cookout tonight, yum!
