Easy way to paint spindles: wear plastic glove, put old sock over your hand, dip into paint and go up and down on the spindles.

Wow! Mary, you took the old tables , turned into a beautiful new pieces. I new you were gonna enjoy doing this in my mind I was like she’s gonna love both end tables turn them both into beautiful tray, and barn wood table. End table with the newspaper paper was beautiful and beautiful. I really loved the last tables , Plant stand with the plant stands shelf, I love what you turned these pieces into. Great job!

I wasn't able to tell exactly what type of screw she was using, but you can buy threaded rods that don't have a head on them. They are made for that type of application.
