Easy Jamaican Style Curry Chicken

Welcome and welcome back to my channel! Today we are preparing a simple yet delicious dish called Jamaican Style Curry Chicken.
Let’s get started, here’s what you’ll need:
2lbs of chicken cut into pieces (dark meat)
1/2 large white or yellow onion
2-3 yellow potatoes
2-3 green onions
3 cloves of garlic
1 thumb of ginger
To season the meat
1-2 tb curry powder
Green seasoning
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp accent
1/2 tsp jerk seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp oregano
Fresh thyme
Fresh oregano
To prepare
Clean your meat with water vinegar and lime
Remove skin
Clean your veggies and rough chop the potatoes and green onions
Thinly slice your white onions. Place meat in a bowl and dry out excess water with paper towel. Season w/ half the curry powder and the rest of seasonings to taste. Let marinate at least 30 minutes.
Heat your pan to medium heat and coat pan with a little vegetable oil. Once oil is hot add onion and other half of curry powder. Cook about 2-3 min until the onion starts to caramelize and become aromatic. Then add meat. Place lid on pan and cook stirring and moving occasionally to avoid sticking. Chicken will make its own meat. Halfway through add potatoes and green onion and continue to stew. If need more juice add water to bowl that contained the chicken and seasonings swish around and pour in. Allow to cook until chicken is fully done and potatoes are fork tender.
(Approximately another 30 min)
Serve over your favorite rice, mine is jasmine rice or with bussupshut.
