Hi! Great tutorial, I was just wondering if this device will work with my 2002 E46 325i BMW. I've watched all your other videos on installing AUX cables and I didn't want to deal with the pain of removing the radio. Thanks in advance!

It will work with all E46 in the US they were all prewired. I think they were prewired everywhere but I'm not sure.

Could you please add links for this BT set and for wireless charger as well? This charger is brilliant!

Can this just plug straight into the e46s with the iPod connector in the glove box ?

Most factory iPod adapters require you to connect an iPod to open the audio ports. I know in a VW it will not work. I'm not sure about your car. If you want to try it. I can charge you the difference if you need to upgrade to the rest of the parts. But if you have the factory iPod cable it will cause a conflict so it must be disconnected. And the factory iPod kit also disconnects the audio ports behind the radio so my adapter when connected in the trunk will have no audio. enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_BTA_F30.html

What if there is no CD changer, just a regular BMW CD radio on E83? Where do you connect the Bluetooth adapter? Maybe you have a tutorial for that?

Will this work with a bmw e46 coupe from 1999. It's a pre facelift car and I'm having trouble finding a system that works.

What if you have the CD changer and you're car is pre wired for Bluetooth audio? I can't find the right 3 and 6 pins on mine.

If you have the CD changer you have to disconnect the cables from the CD changer. The correct cables are connected into the CD changer. That car may have been pre wired for BT calls but it was never pre wired for BT audio. Our adapter pretends to be a CD changer to work.

@@Enfig I removed the CD changer and it hooked right up 👍🏼 I am having some distortion with the bass though. The highs and mids sound good, but anything low with bass gets all distorted

As long as it has the 3 and 6 pin CD changer connection in the trunk it will work. Older BMW(pre1996?) had a CD changer that looked like a shoe box and had a round connection.

Update: My car came with a 6-CD changer but the installation process was still pretty straight forward. If anyone watching this video has a CD changer already in the vehicle all you need to do is detach it and plug in this setup. It is very important to run the bluetooth receiver out past the cloth covering as the signal gets spotty if you leave it inside the cloth housing around the CD changer/Nav CD area. The sound quality has been phenomenal and this allows me to preserve the stock feel of my car! Thanks Christian!

I have late 2003 bmw 318ci coupe with business cd . Only the product is needed ? No peripheral cables ? I see you have 2 links . Both are controlled by the center console but the second is also controlled from the steering wheel? Please answer if possible . I am located in Greece

This is all that is needed. The BMTS-BTU controls from the radio and steering wheel controls. the BMTA-AUX only controls from the phone.
