Vet said no to caking agents and AP flour instead use Coconut flour, Oatmeal and GF flour which are all safe for dogs. Shout out to you for mentioning Xylitol ❤

I used whole wheat flour it was amazing my dog loves it

If you want to write happy birthday or change the frosting color you can blend some blueberries with water and add some to the frosting to color it. It comes out like a magenta or burgundy color. hope this was helpful.😀

google says You might not think much of them unless you're cooking, but, both baking powder and baking soda are incredibly poisonous to dogs. Baking soda is dangerous for dogs because it's a leavening agent.

I made this for my dog and after she finished it she would not stop barking for more for like 30 minutes

Do you think this will be a good doggie birthday cake my dog is turning for her birthday is right after Christmas so we sort of forgot about it I really hope she forgives me

I read that in baked goods it is okay because it is minimal. Don’t give them heaping spoons that is dangerous.

Metric would be good !! The rest of the world changed to metric way back in the 60’s !
