I at first listened to this saying thinking I don’t have any hobbies, but I hike, I workout, I bake healthy snacks so I guess I have done! I need to prioritize reading, I also want to learn crochet 😊

Love this! My favorite hobby is doing fiber arts: knitting, spinning, weaving, etc. knitting is great because it’s pretty cheap, easy to pick up and put down throughout the day, and portable. Plus I love when people compliment my baby’s sweaters and I get to say I made them myself.

Meeting other Moms for Coffee or just catching up with a friend in person without babies is fun too! Maybe some small shopping aswell.Theres something about socializing out side the home.

Thrifting is an amazing hobby!!! I’m obsessed. Would love to try roller skating because I LOVED it as a kid!!

One fun hobby is learning how to make things yourself (DIY!). I’ve made bar soap, vanilla extract, body scrub, and I want to make homemade laundry detergent, kombucha, and others! It’s a fun hobby because it teaches you more about how products are made and you learn about the positives/negatives of the homemade version. It’s awesome for variety, too!

Another great hobby I love doing is scrapbooking because it really brings your memories to life.

we got an osprey back pack to hike comfortably and we love it!! It’s definitely an investment, but soooo worth it!

I put a puzzle together and decapode it and hung it in my craft room!

Knitting too! I knitted before pregnancy and now that baby is here I make all the baby clothes! So far bubs now has booties and bonnets, I’m working on a sweater and next up is pants! You can get wool from the thrift store to keep it on the cheaper side 😊 Also highly recommend the 35mm tilt shift lens from lensbaby! I’ve really enjoyed experimenting with it and I love that it’s just under $300!

Yes newborn days are totally just survival mode !! It wasn’t until 7 months, when my little one started sleeping through the night and depending on me less, did it hit me that I could do things for me 🤣 I’m back in school, which may just seem like more work haha but honestly it’s something for me, I get to work towards something while also being a SAHM - and it’s just what I needed - because the adjustment from full-time employee to full-time mama was challenging ! Thrifting is a huge hobby of mine as well 💛 Thank you for this topic, so important for mamas to have things just for them 🤗

Love these ideas! The hobbies I've been focusing on are reading, journaling (although thats mostly to help my ADHD brain stay organized), photography (I've finally started accepting clients which has been so much fun), nature walks, and I've picked up a couple tv shows that I watch each week. With the shows it's nice to have a set day and time every week where I can watch my show, and either enjoy some ice cream, or relax in the bath when watching. I also go thrifting every couple months - even if I don't buy anything it's nice to get out, and I usually time that with when I have things to donate (I recently purged a lot of my clothing and books). We're moving, and will finally have a full sized kitchen so I'm so excited to pick baking back up again - first thing I plan on making is my great grandma's ginger cookies.

We have the osprey poco lt hiking carrier for our little guy, and he loves it! We do too because it way more comfortable!

Yes! I fell in love with thrifting once I had my daughter. It took time to figure out a new hobby as the new me. But I love it.

Loved this one, Megan!! My little guy is 2.5 months old and this was inspiring (and comforting to know that I'll one day have a little more time to myself once he gets more settled in a routine!). I noticed you didn't mention decorating, but I know that's something you love to do too, and I would consider that one of my hobbies/creative outlets. It's nice that it's something I can do while baby wearing, and I can take my little guy along for the ride when I go pick up new items. Seasonal decorating or just making little improvements to your home aesthetic can be really therapeutic--especially since it's something I can do just a little bit at a time when I get a free moment!

I discovered your channel about a week ago and subscribed immediately !! Since then I’ve been binge watching your videos because I just so wholeheartedly enjoy your videos and I like the theme of your videos and the types of things that you post. I have a one-year-old and a two-month-old so my hands are super full but when I get free time I love to watch KZread and you have been most of what I’m watching these days💕 I seriously need a hobby being as that my time is so consumed with stay at home/mom duties, thank you for this video ☀️

I'm really into writing down my to do lists for the day, week, and long term as well. Especially as neuro-divergent, it's very helpful in keeping me focused and feeling in control in a way lol

You have one kid tho…. I can do almost anything with just one. I got 5 under 6. It is super hard to do anything- I can’t even take a poop without a baby on my lap and one watching me while two fight and one is *very suspiciously* quiet. 😔
