Hummus, crackers, string cheese, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs (scrambled or hard boiled) premade pancakes and waffles (then frozen) nut butters, avocados, bananas, and berries. Some of my staples!

I love to have sardines on hand. Personally I hate them, but baby likes them. I get the no salt added cans. Each can is only about 1-2$ and usually last 2 to 3 meals. Plus sardines are super nutritionally dense and low in mercury. Added bonus: there's no cooking involved. Ready to serve straight out of the can.

I make a batch of either vegan banana muffins, banana pancakes or berry pancakes and then put them in the freezer. The batch will last through the week and then I’ll switch it up and make a different one. Also grapes, canned peaches and pears (in water rather than syrup), yam or sweet potato and my little guy’s fave the blueberry vanilla flavour of those star puffs by Quaker. He is OBSESSED haha

I love steaming sweet potatoes in the microwave, mashing them, and then mixing it with a nut or seed butter. Delicious and my baby loves it! Cottage cheese is also a great staple.

Sweet potato, zucchini and carrots are my 9 mo daughter’s favourites - I boil them and season with oregano and sage and she eats it every day. Also bananas, whole wheat bread, eggs, rice cereal and shredded chicken are some of her most eaten foods. Thanks for the tips, will incorporate some of your meals into our day.

Hard boiled eggs are a great source of protein too! 🙂 Frozen veggies are also super easy! Those are a couple of my staples

My daughter is 9 months but so far I have found chia seeds to make chia pudding, I do an instant oatmeal and baby oatmeal mix with berries for iron/vitamin C, blueberries, bananas, avocado, toast, the ritz crackers, pasta, frozen butternut squash, frozen cauliflower, frozen peas, tofu, egg substitutes (she liked the folded Just Egg mung bean patties) and normal eggs are staples here.

I look for kidfresh brand frozen foods. They have chicken meatballs with veggies inside. They’re delicious! Frozen broccoli is easy. Just measure out two portions and microwave for 4min. Each a portion now and save the rest for tomorrow. He loves broccoli ♥️ you can do the same for frozen baby carrots, I give him the crinkle cutter to play with the carrots

Eggs and cherry tomatoes are our staples. My toddler loooves tomatoes. And for eggs, her favorite is scrambled eggs in butter. I should look for the crinkled butternut squash in TJ

I’m also pretty passionate about BLW! I did it with both of my toddlers now 2 and 3.5 who love Ethiopian food, Indian food, and anything you can throw at ‘em :) They’re just great eaters who enjoy food. You hit a lot of my favorites! We also love the ease of toast strips rotating almond butter and the other nut butters, hummus toast strips, and avocado toast strips. We use Dave’s killer bread- the green one. Rolled oats was our favorite breakfast and we often switched out the flavor profile. Our favorite oatmeal is still peanut butter and banana, but often add cinnamon or frozen blueberries. We often do these similar things with oat pancakes. Our other favorite we share in common is banza pasta! My favorite way to use them is in pesto pasta as a safe way to get greens in! We love the kale cashew pesto from Trader Joe’s for a shortcut or will make our own with a combo of spinach and kale and always add frozen peas to the pesto pasta. It’s such an awesome meal.

Printed the checklist! Thank you so much for this video 😅 Can you do a video showing rowans meals in a day using only ingredients from this list? The meal fatigue is real and even my toddler is getting bored of the same repetitive combinations I give her.

This is pretty much the same list of staples we have for our 10 month old. Except we also always have lots of eggs on hand because scrambled eggs are an easy breakfast and I like to bake him things that require eggs. We also always have sweet potatoes on hand because sweet potato fries are an easy side or snack to throw in the air fryer for 10 minutes for him. As for snacks on the go, we usually get the gerber baby veggie dip curls and yogurt bites!

love this video! When buying peanut butter I always look for one that has just peanuts or peanuts and salt as ingredients. Some brands that call themselves "natural" still have added oils and sugar. If you're looking one with less ingredients, there are a quite a few options out there. We buy the trader joe's brand. :)

This is incredibly helpful!!!! Thank you so much!!! My little girl is 9 months old and have seriously been struggling for what to keep in the house that would be great for a base for multiple meals!!! 😊 we have noticed that avocado is definitely a staple that our little girl loves and we always keep one on hand. Love your videos SO much!! You, Rowan and your little family are so incredibly cute and I look forward to watching your videos everytime you post!

Great video! I'm feeling the meal fatigue for sure. 😭 We do the rotini lentil pasta vs the chickpea penne so I'll have to try that We also do sweet potato fries at least 3 times a week vs. The butter nut squash. We're going to have to try to squash to switch it up. Maybe I missed it but have you talked about weaning recently? My daughter is coming up on 9mos and suddenly nursing so much 😅 hopefully it's just a growth spurt! Good job for breastfeeding so long already. I know it takes a toll.

Sometimes I worry. Don’t have kids yet but hope to in the near future but I’m highly allergic to seafood whether handling raw, cooking, or eating it. How could I even introduce these foods to my children if I can’t even handle it myself?
