Easy hike around and up the Hexenstein (Sass de Stria) with ascent via the Sottotenente Fusetti via ferrata (B/C), which was only built in 2018 by Alpini groups.
Start at the parking lot at the Passo Falzarego, then walk on the north side to the Goiginger Stollen, a tunnel carved into the mountain over 500m long during the First World War.
Be sure to take a flashlight or head torch with you and ideally wear a helmet!
On the south-west side of the mountain, the route continues to the via ferrata, which leads over 150 m up to the ridge of the Hexenstein.
At the top, it goes up through long and deep trenches to the summit.
